Wintertime with coldness, snow and frost brings so much inspiration to take photos and capture the clean nature around me. The layer of snow covers what is ugly and give us clean landscapes.

The combination of warm sunset light and water has always fascinated me and is one of my absolute go to when it comes to photography. Calmness and silence at the coast before the night arrives.

Natural flowers are so beautiful to watch and makes me happy with all their colors and forms. Without flowers the nature with be so dull and boring. I do find them a great subject for photography.

The capital of Scotland - a perfect destination for a city travel. Visit the Royal Mile, the medieval Old Town and the Old Castle on the hill. So much to see and experience.

Landscapes can be very different in the nordic region, depending on time of day, season, weather and area. I often scout around searching for good locations for photography. Still more to find!

Fantastic therapeutic place to be for relaxation and contemplation. The sound and scent of the sea makes me feel alive and calms me down. Even when I am out photographing.

Flowers against a black background makes the colors pop and is a great contrast to the colors of the petals. I prefer to use a background instead of a white when working in the studio.

A typical sign of spring arriving is the cherry blossom season; Sakura and Hanami. The beautiful pink blossom attracts many viewers and photographers to the trees. The blossom is for a short period.

The Danish west coast is a fantastic place to visit, with its vast sandy beaches and sand dunes. The wind can be a challenge when blowing from the North Sea onto land. Blåvandshuk is worth a visit.

Can you get enough of silhouettes at sunsets. I think not! I never get tired of the beauty of black silhouettes against a warm sunset sky. I once was called the "silhouette master"... I wonder why?!

When visiting the flower shop something caught my eye and I just had to buy a couple of these flowers for a photo session in my studio. I didn't even know they existed before I visited the shop.

It is all about the water. I often try to find locations with water to capture. Streams are very common in the nordics when the snow and ice are melting. Best way to capture is with long exposure.

I love to experiment and try new ideas when photographing. I doesn't always have to be outdoors. Sometimes I can find myself in the photo studio breaking new creative ideas for a study.

Flowers are beautiful and mostly full of colors. In one of my studies with my macro lens I wanted to experiment with droplets on the flowers and photograph them against black background.

As a photographer you should always look at all directions to find new subjects to photograph. Usually I don't look up towards the sky and clouds above me... but why not this time.

One way to focus on a detail in a photo, instead of using the ordinary technique with shallow focus on the exakt detail, is by using both color and black & white; selective coloring.

Beauty by the water is what I call sunsets with the beautiful warm orange light and the contrasting dark details in the landscape. Many people love sunsets and the calmness it brings to them and me.

Coastal seascapes is my absolute favorite subject to photograph and process into black & white. I love the contrast between the coastal details and the sea. To me the pictures survey calmness!

A wonderful place when you want to experience the silence, the birds singing and the wind blowing in the treetops, totally in contrast to the city environment with all its noice.
