I mostly use known flowers, such as roses, orchids and tulips. Of course I use other flowers also, it depends on what I want to add to my archive with flower photos. Usually I photograph these flowers in the dark autumn/winter when there is not so much light outdoors and it is raining or snowing, when I long for colors in the otherwise gray and black & white season. In my studio I can work with colors, light and details in a calm environment without wind, insects or other disturbance. I mostly work with color processing for these photos, but when there is a white flower with white petals I want an esthetic and clean look and process the photo in black & white. Which one do you prefer?
This is the third and last photo story about my Studio Florals.
