The NPS is being extremely tactful & diplomatic. 'Cadillac', however, was NO 'noble'.

Squatters At Campgrounds Have Become A Problem At 'Yosemite'. How Will 'Acadia' Fare?

The 3 NPS campgrounds, not on ‘Isle au Haut’, viz., ‘Blackwoods’, ‘Seawall’ & ‘Schoodic Woods’, are currently open & functioning as if there is NO Shutdown. So, right now these campgrounds are FULL, busy & have some staffing. So squatters won’t stand much chance because space will be limited & there will be FEE-PAYING customers who will take umbrage to squatters trying to muscle into THEIR space.

During 2025 Government Shutdown Getting Married At Acadia Will Be Easier.

Unlikely that the NPS will be able to enforce their rules, e.g., the 10 people cutoff.
