NaNoWriMo, the world’s greatest festival of speed-written incomplete first drafts. I am doing it, as I have been every year since 2003, so I will be even more silent than usual on other fronts, such as this one.
I do have a couple of reviews saved up, and will post them, probably, sometime – on the potential-Hugo-nominees front, I’ve read “The Freeze-Frame Revolution” and liked it, and Record of a Spaceborn Few, which I liked with reservations. (Also, I have some thoughts about a bad habit of SF’s that Becky Chambers is apparently trying to break, and I ought to get around to articulating that a bit. Later. After I have churned out 50,000 words of gibberish.)
