Stalk’s Videogame Corner: Caravan Sandwitch

Game: Caravan Sandwitch
Developer: Studio Plane Toast
Genre: Adventure Game
Releases: 2024 (Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Windows)
Stalk’s Rating: 6/10

Out of the depths of my backlog comes another seemingly random game in form of “Caravan Sandwitch”. I got this one from a Humble Choice some months ago, redeemed the key, and then had it sit on hold; until I needed another game to occupy myself with and thought that this one might do the trick. “Caravan Sandwitch” is certainly interesting for lots of reasons, with Steam reviews and even more so the Steam forums for the game going completely ape-shit about fascism and hate speech, when the product at hand is really an adventure game on a barren planet that use a vehicle as one of the main gameplay gimmicks. Now, there are reasons to the craziness that is happening on Steam and I will scratch the surface of what causes those reactions, but for the most part this is just me talking about a game that I invested twelve hours of my life into. Here are my thoughts on “Caravan Sandwitch”:

Budget Deckbuilding: Phyrexian Poison

I am a simple man when it comes to color combinations in Magic the Gathering. I see Black-Green, I like the deck since I do think that the entire graveyard-filling theme this combo normally goes for is pretty cool to play. However, while “Phyrexian Poison” is a Black-Green deck, it does take a somewhat different direction than your usual Golgari deck; and the name might give you a hint. It is Infect time, placing poison counters on the opponent. This is a crazy strong mechanic as you will see down in the article, so let us see what the deckbuilders managed to do with a deck idea that should honestly built itself.

Stalk’s Videogame Corner: Nice Day for Fishing

Game: Nice Day for Fishing
Developer:
 FusionPlay
Genre: Role-Playing Game
Releases: 2025 (Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Windows, Xbox X/S)
Stalk’s Rating: 5/10

Humble Choice is still a thing in 2026, so getting seemingly random games to write about is a trend that I will continue with into the future. The candidate for today’s article is “Nice Day for Fishing”, which is the gamified version of the skits from Viva La Dirt League, a group of people making videos about their role-playing adventures and the idea of having an NPC being somewhat self-aware in an MMORPG. I have seen some of their videos on random occasions browsing Youtube because the algorithm seemed to think that it would be content that is up my alley, and for the most part what I have seen was funny but not to the point of following the channel to get more; sorry, fans of VLDL. However, I have now a role-playing game about fishing potentially infused with the same type of humor, so let us see if it can deliver.

Budget Deckbuilding: Myr of Mirrodin

Another Wednesday, another Intro Pack to look at. This time, we have one of the most flavorful creature types of Mirrodin being featured in form of the small artifact servant race called the Myr. They are mostly known to be small creatures and often associated with producing mana, but WotC definitely gave those guys some tools to make an interesting deck in general. Now, whether “Myr of Mirrodin”, this week’s deck, actually manages to rise to the occasion remains to be seen. However, seeing that this deck is listed as being mono-White, there is definitely something interesting hiding in the box. Let’s find out more in the article below.

Stalk’s Videogame Corner: NTR Neko Maid Erotic Favor

Game: NTR Neko Maid Erotic Favor
Developer: HalftoneDot
Genre: Erotica, Gambling Simulator
Releases: 2025 (Windows)
Stalk’s Rating: 3/10

Just as promised, I am back on track with my sort-of “hidden schedule”, giving random Erotica titles a chance and hopefully finding something worthwhile to play. Like I said before, I feel like the information level about random Erotica games is fairly low, despite the interest having an opinion about anything; and if not, you can be sure that someone posts their thoughts into ChatGPT to get some factually wrong slop to post out of thin air. So, let us throw out some non-AI-writing about another random game into the world, with the title today being “NTR Neko Maid Erotic Favor”, a word cloud that probably resulted from translating the Japanese original title. Granted, this title already introduces a strike against since I am not all that fond of netorase which that NTR probably stands for, but since the game is downloaded and ready I might as well give it a try.

Stalk’s Videogame Corner: RV There Yet?

Game: RV There Yet?
Developer: Nuggets Entertainment
Genre: Adventure Game
Releases: 2025 (Windows)
Stalk’s Rating: 7/10

There are some attributes to me writing about videogames that constantly come up. For example, chances are that if a new game is about to come out and is hyped by everyone and their dog, I haven’t heard of it. But I am always willing to try out something new, especially if it is multiplayer-friendly seeing how there is a core group of people that I play games with when possible. So, when semi-regular Discord member Xentus entered the conversation some time ago and said that he had a game he would like to play with the group, I was naturally interested in what that might be. Turns out, he talked about “RV There Yet?”, a fun co-op adventure game in which you play a group of people coming back from their holiday and having to take a detour back home; a detour that can hardly be called anything resembling a “road” anymore. With a mod installed that actually increased the number of people able to play the game, we were ready to get the show on the road as a team of five; as you can read in the article below.

Budget Deckbuilding: Metalcraft

Its Mirrodin time again; and what would this plane of everything artifact-wise be without a few colorless cards being featured in a Preconstructed Deck? Today, we feature a Blue-Red artifact-themed named “Metalcraft”; but don’t worry, despite the deck using two colors there are plenty of artifacts to go around. And for the uninitiated, even the name of the deck hints at lots of artifacts being played and even being necessary for maximum effectiveness. So, now that Intro Packs have reached a point where they actually contain sixty cards to work with, I can look forward to give the deck a run-down; and jump right into it.
