Via Botcon.com: Ravage! This is the Sunstreaker Combiner Wars mold with new deco and a new head - and if you're asking yourself "isn't it a little early?" the answer is "yes." Most Botcon exclusives start being previewed about 2-3 months early, and this one is roughly 6 months early.

Red Predacon tampos on his shoulders and a new head are two of his most striking features, and it's also worth noting the theme - "Dawn of the Predacus." Whatever that means. Last year was Cybertron's Most Wanted, and you got toys you probably weren't thinking about getting, so for all we know this is to throw us off the stench of Magnaboss. Not coincidentally, 2016 is the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars.

Via TFSource: MP-29 Masterpiece Shockwave and MP-28 - Masterpiece Hot Rod 2.0 are now up as pre-order listings with extensive color photography. Shockwave is the same size as Soundwave and Starscream, while Hot Rod has a fishing rod and saw accessory that will no doubt convince you to part with some money.

It looks like Roddy will be quite cheap, in the $60-$80 range. Shockwave will be closer to $150-$200, depending on the importer. Not everyone has listings up yet, so keep your peepers peeled and pre-order when you feel comfortable.

Via the Adam16bit Tumblr: Back to the Future Time Machine - Hover Mode cars are making the rounds for a buck. So I got one.

Toys R Us had a few of them, and what's interesting is that the hover mode wheels conceal actual, working wheels so this can still roll around on a table or your desk. It's really neat! And of course we'll look at it in the regular review feature here shortly.

Via the Adam16bit Tumblr: NYCC 2015 � Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel, and More. See a new "Titans Return" (headmasters) Galvatron along with Blaster, Skullcruncher, and Hardhead - with more coming! A comic release makes it look like the shuttle we saw at BotCon is a new Sentinel Prime, and Stripes... is also present. (It looks hungry. But it's one rotten egg in the dozen.) But fret not, because a new Rewind is coming and hopefully that means Chromedome is next to be revealed.

It is absolutely worth noting that the Voyagers and Leaders are now all "Titan Masters" or "Headmasters" - so there's a helmet, which folds back (shades of Ultra Magnus 2015) and you can swap out the head/face element. New, smaller heads with vehicles will be sold separately including Nightbeat. There's no Transtector/body/car for Nightbeat, but a head shares his name and coloring.

Also check out with Blaster, Stripes, Rewind, and some new dudes. I assume Stripes is the prepaint of Ravage, for which I assume apologies are being preemptively drafted. However, a little dragon/dinosaur Decepticon dude looks pretty cool - so at least there's everything else that looks to be incredible.

For fans of the new lines, this Robots in Disguise shows Thunderhoof, Megatronus, Quillfire, and Fracture to name a few.

Via the Matty Collector: 2016 Classics 2.0 Subscription - now available as bimonthly or "triple shipment" options. Each figure is $20 (instead of $25) through the subscription, and there's an exclusive sub-only Filmation Evil Seed. The line-up is as follows:

"He-Man (2/16), Trap Jaw (4/16), Skeletor (6/16), Evil Seed (Subscription-only figure, 8/16), Beast Man (8/16), Evil-Lyn (10/16), Clawful (12/16)."

Xbox fans, it's time to try Transformers: Devastation, a 3D brawler. Microsoft says:

Via the Alien Robot Monster Tumblr: Monsterex S.L.U.G. Zombie green mini-figure. This is a fan-made item and will go on sale soon.

Monstrex originally appeared in Archie's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Special comics - which nobody read and often got pretty weird. He's an amalgamation of various Universal Monsters, and this may well be his only toy - available in SLUG Zombies green or MUSCLE flesh, to boot.

Via Botcon.com: Predacon General Ramhorn! This is the second Ramhorn toy, although it's worth noting this one looks very little like the 1990s toy, a beetle.

Black Predacon tampos bedeck the toy, based on the Beast Wars season 2 TV designs - "Predacon General Ramhorn." It's clearly a retooled Brawl, but it looks like it could also be tooled from another combiner character which, as of yet, has not been announced.

Via Amazon: Transformers Generations Leader Class Thundercracker Figure is one of many figures on a price rollercoaster. For the last few days it's been hovering around $20 - as of my typing this, it's $21.91 $21.87 and seems to be dropping regularly.

It's a pretty nice toy for the money - normally $45-$50, this is pretty much as low as it gets. Here is my review from last May, and at this price - basically a Voyager price - I'd up it to "don't miss it." Other Leader-class toys are about the same. For those still needing some, Age of Extinction Leaders have been showing up at Ross for $24.99.

Via Target: Marvel Avengers Target Exclusive Legends 3-Pack Hulk Ultron and Marvel's Vision! Here's where it gets weird - I saw it in stores over the weekend for about $50. Online it's "sold out" and $30. I am told Target is very good at price-matching their web site, so print it out or bring your phone and see what you can do. A big Hulk is probably worth $30.

This is part of an endcap at many stores, including Star Wars Hot Wheels and other brands. I suggest seeking it out - it's a mix of gift items and collector items, most of which are $50.

Via Botcon.com: Predacon General Cicadacon! This is the second Cicadacon toy, the first of which being an actual bug in the dubiously-received Tripredacus way back in the 1990s during Beast Wars. It was kinda cute.

Black Predacon tampos and buggy wings decorate the fully-named "Predacon General Cicadacon." Skydive's mold is a decent fit, and looks so pretty wearing red.

Meanwhile in Japan, HLJ.com has Transformers Legends Blackarachnia, Slipstream, Nightbird, and also Arcee in stock.

Each one is a few cents over US $20 (depending on the exchange rate) which means they're marginally more expensive than a US deluxe. In the case of Arcee, the Japanese release is cheaper than the American one on the secondary market.

Originally tied in to the (so far) unfunded Play With This Too Kickstarter, now you can just buy them. BMOG Cobiak & Deep Blue (Heroic Blue) are up for $20 a set, which is the same price as the other sets.

Yellow, black, purple, and blue are on sale now. Orange was exclusive to the BMOG Kickstarter, and a green set was also available through a convention. I quite like these toys, and $20 isn't half bad for what they are - just be ready with a hobby knife and some small files if you want to play around with these.

I saw it at Ross. The Transformers: Age of Extinction First Edition Optimus Prime Figure showed up at $32.99, about half its initial asking price in early 2014.

If you're a fan of Nintendo's real-life viral marketing application for its 3DS and 2DS platforms, you'll be glad to know Puzzle Swap finally updated with Yo-Kai Watch.

Japan already knows Yo-Kai Watch as a thoroughly marketed multimedia juggernaut in the making with games, toys, collectible medals, and a cartoon not unlike Pokemon. The game hits US shores in just a couple of weeks, so you too will learn the joy of a boy, his watch, and his pal the ghost sperm. From what little I've seen so far it seems they learned numerous lessons from Nintendo's pocket monster franchise, meaning receptive kids could result in a surprise 11th-hour fad for Christmas.

Vita games are far and few between, and 2D shooters are particularly rare. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to buy a Vita. Just make a few more new Castlevania games and I'm in!

Checkpoints let you continue from a mid-level spot. Conditional power-ups are something visibly missing right now - in the original games, a ? block might give you a mushroom if you're small and a fire flower, leaf, feather, or other item if you're Super. Mario Maker will always give you the same item. This basically is one more minor step to letting you recreate the original games just a little bit more.

Ad: Amazon is selling a reissue of Oingo Boingo Dead Man's Party! It includes an MP3 download, comes on colored vinyl, and at $22.99 costs four times the price of a CD.

This follows a recent Weird Science soundtrack vinyl reissue, which is currently $16.99 and also features Oingo Boingo along with OMD, Wall of Voodoo, and others you probably love.

Via Botcon.com: Predacon General Seaclamp! This is the second Seaclamp toy, and this one is based on the upcoming Scattershot toy from Combiner Wars. For this reason, it does not look like an actual lobster.

The combined mode has yet to be revealed. Sea Clamp was previously part of Tripredacus, a combiner. He was a lobster, and lobsters are cool.
