The heat is going to my head as I fantasize about escape!

It's a summer for being hot and bothered on the European side of the Atlantic.

Here is my monthly article on art. It also appears in The Scranton Times-Tribune, The Citizen's Voice of Wilkes Barre, The Hazelton Standard Speaker and The Republican Herald of Pottsville, PA.

I'll not be posting my article on anthracite artists until August 2nd. I follow the same calendar as the newspapers where it appears. Today, replaced by a supplement for the Schuylkill County Fair!

The 4th of July is a good day for looking into the complexities of American history. On the 250th birthday of the USA, it's also a good day to reflect upon what our nation means to us.
