What if (and this is another big what if) the next step to whatever we need, whenever we need it, is always right in front of us?

Being an earthy creature, where I live is very important to me and my well-being, but I’ve spent a lot of years in the past overriding my initially unimpressed intuition and living in houses that have been kind of OK for me rather than really great, and then working to try and make them fit.

In a week where various trees continue to fall I keep finding myself on my knees.

There is a beautiful red sky at 8.30a.m.

The first day of the month, I wake up to Narnia.

I walk with my dogs every morning in the woods next to my house in our little town in Denmark. It’s a small wood by Denmark’s standards with about a 5k perimeter, so my dogs and I know it pretty well in all seasons and weathers. When it’s rainy, there are about 3 places on our daily walk where the path gets untenably muddy, so in the Autumn and winter we take a little detour off the beaten track…

When my children were little I used to play a game with them in Autumn to make walking the dogs more fun.
