The Four of Clubs favors steady ground: work made secure through order, cooperation, and knowing where things belong. Yet this verse brings people whose origins cannot be proved, putting a question mark beside belonging and credentials. Together they suggest that today’s stability may depend on verifying what has simply been taken for granted. A missing receipt, unclear responsibility, old family story, workplace assumption, or uncertain promise could matter more than expected. Don’t reject what lacks tidy proof, but don’t build heavily upon it either. Give solid facts their proper weight and leave uncertain matters room to remain uncertain. Check the foundation before adding another brick.

I love how more fleshed out especially Din became as a character, and Ana is just one of the most amazing characters ever written. I love how cantankerous she is and how insightful. Din is coming more in his own with the job, though, and that's so wonderful to see!

This morning at about 5:30 I drove Maru to the big park he likes for his walk. FM Yokohama had a fishing report on, which went into great detail about what fish people are catching on what vessel, how large the catch is, what bait or lures are working and so on. It was fascinating, and had some jokey moments too - caught 20 mackerel? Great but the problem is now you gotta clean 'em! I never realized this kind of news was a thing.

been too long without updates! and a LOT has changed and been added. i kinda wish i've been posting more regularly but now's a good time to start. most recently, I finally updated the timeline in to go from march 22nd 2026 to march 22nd 2027. i'm also beginning something of a refactoring which should organize the code better and make it easier to build more cool and fun webpages! i'll need to share everything i've done since the last status update, but that's basically everything! so maybe would be best for a blog post that details what's been done so far and a hint of what's to come. stay tuned :)

Sambal Goreng Tempeh

Portions: 2

1 block tempeh, 1 onion (diced), 3 tsp sambal oelek, 1 tsp laospowder, 6 tbsp ketjap manis (I do this by feel, tbh), 50 gram brown sugar (basterd suiker)

Prep: dice the tempeh, and pre-fry it. I use an airfryer for this stage. Mix the diced tempeh with a tiny bit of sunflower oil and fry it for 10 minutes on 180 degrees C.

Put like 1 tbsp of sunflower oil in a skillet, and fry the onion. Add the sambal, the laos powder, sugar, and ketjap manis. Stir well, and let it boil softly while stirring.

Add the tempeh and mix it with everything else until it is coated. Warm it through for another 5-10 minutes on low-medium heat.

I've been using the PARA system by Tiago Forte for 4 or so years now. It served me well when I only had a few classes to focus on and when things are more 'Projects' focused, but now that I have a brief pause before my postgraduate program, I'm finding it quite limiting. Currently exploring the Dewey and Nick Milo's A.C.E folder system.

I think I'll still continue using PARA on my Google Drive though, I think it serves fairly well there.
