Back from San Diego. Lots of pictures were taken, and lots of driving happened. Oh, and tons of walking up hills--I had little familiarity with San Diego's terrain, so all of their hills were a big surprise to me and my legs.

I’m a bit saddened that Homewood Suites has de-emphasized their duck logo. Lewis the Wood Duck deserves better treatment than this.

Tonight’s restaurant visit was a swing and a miss. It’s been a while since our dinner was that disappointing. We both took half of our meals home, with plans to add some extra ingredients to salvage them for tomorrow’s lunch.

When you’re too tired to come up with a status update, that’s a sure sign you should go to bed. Oh, wait.

After 27 hours of flying, my in-laws have finished their flights from French Polynesia to Florida. That’s too much flying!

So this is how it feels to have plenty of rest from last night. It’s an odd feeling to be so energized. I should have these sensations bottled and packaged.
