One of these days, I will lose my temper and cancel all my subscriptions.. It seems, the only emails I get from the services I subscribe to are email sadvising that my subscription price is increasing 👿

After many moons came a night where it’s just me and my son home alone. It’s been a a great night. We played a lot, we had lots of fun and he fell asleep next to me watching Spidey.

It has been an hour but I have not moved. Still I am next to him (while he is sleeping), wanting to strengthen my bond as much as possible with my son.

Every now and then I regret getting the monster 16inch MacBook Pro.

However, it does come in handy when the MacBook is my only display. It’s so nice…

It’s always a trade off…

Maybe I can have two Macs, one 16inch and one 13 inch air…

Or just keep things as they are…

Vision Pro recently launched in Australia and there were numerous interviews by Apple executives promoting the product.

They are very smart people. Amongst their many skills, they also have a very unique skill of saying a lot of stuff without giving anything meaningful away.

I just realised that my entire work life has been on a windows computer. Despite being in an Apple ecosystem.

My work is 100% windows and since 2010, that is what I have been using.

Therefore the reason I bought my first mac a more than a decade ago was because I use Windows all day so wanted a change in my personal computing.

Today, I am considering getting a Surface Pro for my personal computing as well.

Work mode with Lofi Loft playing in the background.. feeling productive

I really like Ivory mastodon client but at AUD39.99 a year, I just cannot justify it.

I can afford it but I cannot seem to justify it especially when there are decent alternatives like Mona. I mostly use the web version of mastodon anyway :(

One of the greatest tragedies in my personal computing life is the lack of a desktop class browser on iPad.

Apple restricting all browsers to WebKit is frustrating. I want a real browser engine with desktop class add-ons/extensions

I am yet to find a single good reason why Apple does this…. This makes it even more frustrating 🤬

This isn’t an issue on the macOS.

A great Australian win tonight against Wales. Really good to see them win… it’s been a long time timing… the fans finally get to see their team win.

Fire TV, Google TV and Roku all have third party ads. Not to mention every TV also has advertising.

At this point, the only option is APPLE TV.

So, I bought an Apple TV 4K with Ethernet.

I do not want AI bots scrapping my blog.

However, it feels we live in a world where people who control AI can do whatever they want.

As a personal blogger if I am protective of my content, I cannot imagine the impact on folks that make their living on content that AI bots are STEALING ….DAY LIGHT ROBBERY

Adding Star Wars to my collection
