Bleh...part of me thinks I should be writing, but the other half would rather focus on my journal or literally anything else. The weekends are the best time for it, as I'll be distracted otherwise.

Gf is moving their desk to the kitchen, so I'm not overwhelmed by their voice chats w/ friends (small apartment woes), and we did a lot of tidying up last night. Fun and productive, and we're finding and tossing old things.

Woohoo! 4thewords now has a Chrome extension, support for other browsers coming, along with an app. Not for Linux as of yet, but one can hope.

Finally scrapped my old Goodreads accounts. Had three for some reason...barely used.

I think I'll finish House of Leaves by the end of the week. I'm at that part where the story just flies on by. And I am pretty hooked. The only thing slowing me down are Truant's parts.

Ugh..,spent less time working and more time tweaking my weblog and other things. All the more reason to find a steady job. Surveys are getting too competitve these days.

Spent an hour purging my old Proboards accounts (the ones I had access to, anyway), and wooow I was quite the active rper. I didn't wipe my forum posts (too much effort) but eh just the accounts are fine.

Meh. I think I'm done with reaction videos. I was mostly doing Spilling The Milk and a smaller YTber who mostly watches bad Tubi movies but...meh.

I was never a big fan of let's plays either, and only follow a tight few who are mostly calm. Too many streamers overreact which is just irritating. Just be normal; you don't have to scream at the most lukewarm scenes. Which is a tall ask I suppose, as I mostly watch horror games (things I won't play for myself).

I mostly watch for the story.

Having a morning of misses with my usual podcasts today. One I follow covered the "AI hacker" story like it was some amazing debacle. What a dull topic...

Playing with my hair is an unfortunate stim, in that I can't overstress the strands. Striving for locs again, which I now regret cutting years ago. My hair was long for the first time ever.

But I guess I got bored or tired of them. Cut them off and sent them home to mom so she could fuse them with hers.

For as much hate the US gets, few can even acknowledge just how fucking racist this country is. From inception. And how it persists in modern day, to the extent where Black women die at an alarming rate in childbirth, or how slavery never ended; it just became prison labor. Or how many Black people get murdered by cops, lynchings brushed off as "accidents" or self-inflicted.

Or how poor our education system is, by design, to keep an ignorant populace.

America was never "great". If you're a white man with money, sure.

I like this podcast (furry fiction), but I dislike the current/new narrator. It was fine when he was just a guest, but ugh...his voice and accents just aren't my jam.

Got invited to try a new serial platform by someone who watched the fallout from Kindle Vella. The rates almost turned me off, but if I get steady readers...I can make more from my serial than my book series combined.

Like, full payment. I'll give it a whirl outta curiosity.

Having a good morning in terms of finances, and my medication seems to be treating me well? It's slow release so the effects are gradual. Just hoping I make it to and from my therapy appointment w/o issue. Otherwise I'd rest.

Ugh...I really think my meds are wearing off now. And my new pharmacy is slow on shipping out the new generic I ordered last Tuesday.

I'm gonna have to take those red pills to cope when my current dose runs out. Maybe even sooner, if we're being real. Camber wasn't so bad for me the 1-2 days I took it. I did feel on the verge of a panic attack, but...I can tolerate that if I know it's just a panic attack.

Cause rn it doesn't feel like I'm on anything at all. Might be best to save the 150 for when/if I need to taper off.

Learning today that I have no idea what "wholesome" means. I do equate it more to cute and sweet low stake stories. I wouldn't use it to describe most of the media I consume. Oh wait. Persona 3! It's depressing as hell but that's also why I love it so.

Joining this writing game after a little hiatus, and I think it's funny how dire some responses are already. Meanwhile I'm one of the few with a more positive response. I used to be the more dire respondent, but being on Buproprion has worked wonders for my depression and mood.

Oh wow. Reached my daily goal early today. Half of that is thanks to Freecash, ofc. Like $20 an hour. I'll keep my work browser open to see if I catch any good surveys, but will focus on writing otherwise.

Hanging onto my Freecash account for the next 74 days. I'm getting nearly the full money bonus from this one game. A nice chunk of money and it's mostly passive. One of those annoying "play x amount of days" kinda games. Worth it.

Oof...might actually remove my highest tier because I don't have the fanbase and...$10 is a lot. I got ambitious though hahaha

Just realized I could hide comments on the site I use to watch anime. No more shall I suffer from younglings who lack media literacy or need to be spoonfed plot.

Ugh...I don't think my body can handle cooked salmon. It keeps irritating my GERD and making me all bloated. Smoked is fine which is weird. Might avoid it entirely now cause it's not worth the side effects.

Playing around with themes and got something going for my statuslog! Satisfying... Just wish I could replicate that on my weblog.

Hm...much as I like Pagecord, I would prefer to use my weblog more. Moved things over there and did some light edits. Excited for Neato and may move my Last Train Home guide there. But first...my blog!

I am a little too comfy posting to my statuslog haha. It's a one way street sadly, though I don't get many bites posting Quiet Public. I'm in that very awkward social media spot where I have a decent amount of followers, but only a handful of them actually engage with my posts. Kinda sucks but oh well.

Recently unfollowed a mutual and fellow author who was promoting piracy. And a fan, at that. Ugh.

When someone says they pirate everything, I just assume they don't support and/or outright hate artists, writers, etc. Taking from the rich is fine, but taking from those of us with very little is the reverse of what Robinhood stood for.

"I'm poor!" Me too, you aren't special, bud. But also I find the money to support others.
