Infosys names Vishal Sikka as first non-founder CEO
Just saw this via LinkedIn, about Infosys, my former employer:
On Bloomberg:
Infosys Hires Ex-SAP Executive as CEO to Revive Margins
Then checked on Google News and saw a few more links about the news:
On Reuters:
Infosys names Vishal Sikka as first external CEO in turnaround bid
On Quartz:
Infosys’ founders are all leaving management to let the new CEO, Vishal Sikka, do his thing
The Quartz article says that Vishal Sikka holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University, and was SAP's first CTO.
Disclaimer: No endorsement of the articles' titles or opinions, either for or against, is meant, obviously. But the news is interesting.

Narayana Murthy, Infosys founder, to come back
TOI: Narayana Murthy's priority will be to stabilize Infosys in transition
Narayana Murthy, who co-founded Infosys Technologies, is to come back as executive chairman, after retiring some years ago. I saw a few articles about this in the Times of India today.
There have been reports in the media that Infosys has not been doing so well for some time, at least compared to other companies in the same league.
Don't know much of the details about that, but anyway, hope this will be a change for the better.
A recent article on NDTV says that Mr Murthy was listed as one among the "12 greatest entrepreneurs of our time" by Fortune magazine in 2012.

I worked at Infosys for some years, earlier, and learned a lot while I was there, not only about technology but other areas too.
