It’s not about avoiding intensity. It’s about being able to hold and handle it.

Coming back isn’t easy. After distance… after numbness… after checking out… there’s a moment where things start to turn back on. And it doesn’t feel like relief.

There’s a state where the mind and body stop syncing. Not panic. Not shutdown. Disconnection.

You’re functioning. But you’re not really there. You're feeling dead inside. Numb.

Modern life is loud. Not just sonically - cognitively. Notifications. Group chats. Emails stacked on emails. Ten tabs open. Ten thoughts competing for attention.

You’re not lazy. You’re under-stimulated?

Racing thoughts. Low-level grrrrrrr behind every task. A nervous system that feels super spiky .. ready to jump, even when nothing is happening.

There’s a specific kind of anger that doesn’t look like anger. It looks like irritability. Short replies. Snapping at emails. Jaw tight for no reason. A low hum of “don’t talk to me.”

There’s a specific kind of peace that happens when a wall of guitars hits just right.

Making better food choices doesn’t have to mean cooking every meal or following strict rules. Most of the time, it’s about having better options available when life gets heavy.

There are no real rules, this is a space for you, your wants and needs and feeling into however you need to get those met.
