A nerdy, bald programmer with glasses smiling at you like he knows what's going on.

AI coding is magic...until it isn't.

You built the frontend in an afternoon. Now the database is locked, OAuth is throwing 403s, and you have no idea how to deploy to AWS without burning cash. That's where a lead engineer comes in.

The Gap AI Can't Close

I think AI is great. I use it daily. But LLMs are like junior developers on espresso — fast, confident, and frequently wrong. They don't care about security, scalability, or why your server bill is $5,000/mo.

Sound familiar?

  • Your code works great in Replit but falls apart in production.
  • Cursor hallucinated a library that doesn't exist.
  • You're not sure how the database works — and neither is the AI that set it up.

The real issue: AI tools are incredible at generating code. They're terrible at making technical decisions. That's the gap a senior engineer fills.

The Full-Stack Partnership

I don't want to rebuild your app. You built it. I want to make it production-ready so you can get back to your vision.

Embedded Lead Engineer

Architecture, strategy, and daily code — one person, fully embedded

$15,000/month

3-month minimum · 6-month maximum · limited to 3 clients on the roster

I join your team as the lead engineer. I own the architecture, make it production-ready, and write code every day. You keep building with AI tools — I make sure the result actually works at scale.

Why Seth?

27 years of building what AI tools can't.

20+ Startups

I've seen every way a startup can succeed and fail. That pattern recognition is what AI can't replicate.

Deep Technical Roots

From hand-rolling neural networks in C to shipping production ML pipelines. I understand the full stack, top to bottom.

I've Read the Manual

AI tools hallucinate documentation. I've actually read it — so you don't have to.

Hands on Keyboard

I write production code every day. Not strategy docs, not Slack opinions — working software.

Questions I Actually Get Asked

Can't I just ask ChatGPT to fix the bug ChatGPT wrote?

Sure. And when it hallucinates a fix for the fix, give me a call. The issue isn't the individual bug — it's that AI tools lack the judgment to make architectural decisions. That's what a lead engineer brings.

What's your AI stack?

It changes weekly. I spend a lot of time in Lovable, Replit, jules, and Cline (using every LLM, even local ones).

What's your preferred stack?

Personally Linode, MariaDB, Docker, Python, Flask, Tailwind CSS and iced matcha latte — but I've shipped production code in React, TypeScript, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and whatever the Silicon Valley kids are using these days.

What if you can't solve the problem?

In the rare cases where I can't, it's either an open problem nobody can solve (and I'll tell you that immediately) or I know someone who can and I'll connect you with them.

Do you believe in ghosts?

Certainly! And your legacy code is haunted. Let's clear them out.
