Take a small Powered-by-the-Apocalypse dungeon crawler:

Swap XP-for-coin for QUESTING
Add the BARD CLASS
Rip out skills and give more ABILITIES
Make other MINOR CHANGES
Be OPEN TO ADDING MORE STUFF LIKE GM TOOLS

Recommend combining with:

One-Shot World by Yochai Gal for good questions and fantasy PbtA mindset
Maze Rats by Ben Milton for random tables
Volume 2: Monsters & by Luke Gearing for… monsters

Loads of credit to John Harper for World of Dungeons, the basis of the text, layout, and concept for the whole game.

Side note: I love Gearing’s monster manual so much. Read it over and over all Memorial Day Weekend. However, I noticed he had some OD&D monsters missing… Stay tuned 🙂
