This is the first part of a collaborative project by Susan Bordo & Laurel Brett on Christopher Nolan’s inventions, re-shapings, and omissions in adapting Homer’s poem.

As we lead up to the Emmy Awards, I’ll be writing new stacks and reposting previously published stacks on the nominated shows. “The Pitt” has been nominated for 25 awards.
