It’s been one month since I stepped away from the VC side and came back to building.

My RTX 4070, i7, 16GB RAM laptop — two years old, built to be fast — was crawling.

A founder I work with called me a few weeks ago.

The perk of flying 7 hours is it gives you time to think.

There’s a simple test for whether a meeting worked: did anyone walk out saying, “That could’ve just been an email”? If so, it probably wasn’t a board meeting. It was a reporting session — and a forgettable one at that.
