Dear readers,
In recent posts, I have been exploring what AI may be changing beyond productivity: how working more with AI may affect everyday human connection, how generative AI can make hard-earned expertise feel less valuable, and how constantly monitoring and correcting AI can contribute to cognitive overload and mental fatigue.
You can revisit those posts here:
Together, these findings raise a larger question:
AI may be helping us accomplish more, but is it helping us truly thrive?
This question motivated me to create Deep Thriving in the Age of AI, a five-part live seminar series examining how we can benefit from AI while preserving our energy, agency, judgment, professional identity, relationships, well-being, and sense of meaning.
In Part 1: Are You Truly Thriving with AI?, we will explore what deep thriving means, assess where AI may be supporting or undermining our lives, and review the personal strengths and resilience that help us navigate rapid change.
