What's the point in all this anyway?

For the better part of this year, crickets have echoed in the creative side of my brain.

‘The Method’ takes many forms.

I woke up as a thirty year old woman and felt absolutely nothing.

But I do... every day.

...Routine doesn’t create order, it’s the Re-order.

How bizarre that trying is an act of rebellion.

I write poems because the world has gone mad.

(new diagnosis just dropped, yay!).

Ritual is what keeps me coming home.

For as long as I can remember, I have written my feelings down.

I try and find steadiness, silence, and space.

At times, I feel this resistance to being a mum.

Rituals come in all forms.

We all joke: “Oh it made me crazy.”
