We’re in the depths of winter, right in the thick of raising a family. I’m building a business. Josh is thriving in his career (and heading to London next week). And amongst the fast pace of it all, I’m really conscious of staying present and enjoying the beautiful moments.
The older girls are at that age where they’re beginning to mature and are just so much fun to be around. The conversations we have, the help they offer around the house, and watching the little people they’re growing into is such a cool thing to experience.
And then there’s little Lucy, who is an absolute joy. Although we may have forgotten to tell her that when we attempted to go to a 40th birthday on Saturday night. While she’s calm about 90% of the time, she was certainly not calm that evening. I think we lasted just under two hours before calling it and heading home!
So yes, life is busy. But it’s filled with the very best things. And Josh and I are doing our best to make the most of the moments we have together amongst the madness.
