I had a friend check in this week to see how I was coping with Josh being away and juggling the three kids on our normal schedule.
My response? “I’ve never felt more relaxed.”
My house is the cleanest and most organised it’s ever been. There are extra hands around during the day with Lucy, and by the time the kids’ bedtime routine is done, the kitchen is spotless and there’s nothing left for me to do.
Not to mention my wardrobes are bursting at the seams because, for once, all of my clothes are clean.
Mum is an absolute machine and I really wish I’d inherited her cleaning genetics. I definitely didn’t, but I’m more than happy to borrow them whenever she offers.
And while we all miss Josh (lucky he’s only away for six days!), it’s been so nice having the extra support for both me and the kids.
Thanks, Mum ❤️
Today I’m sharing:
A quote about what really holds us back
A fascinating swimming documentary
Life-changing running shoes
An unbelievably easy chicken satay
So sit back, settle in, and enjoy Issue #182.
