Hello and Welcome To My Substack
People often assume the UK is one of the worst places to practise quantum biology. I disagree.
While I’m working on my next scientific article, I thought I’d do something completely different and share a practical photo diary instead.
This is one ordinary day in my life here in Leeds, UK. It’s not a strict routine—I rarely do exactly the same thing every day—but it gives you a realistic glimpse into how I apply the principles I teach.
The aim isn’t for you to copy everything I do. We all live in different environments, have different schedules and different priorities. Instead, I hope this post gives you practical, low-cost ideas that you can adapt to your own life, wherever you live.
Throughout the day I’ll explain not only what I did, but why I did it—from morning light and movement to food, water, farmers’ markets, consciousness practices, skin care, gardening and cold exposure, to some of the fascinating conversations I had with colleagues working in fields such as biofields, consciousness, water, geomancy and quantum biology. There are also a few slightly unusual experiments along the way.
So, come and spend some virtual time with me in Leeds... friends and colleagues may come in person
Fire-Light
I missed the sunrise today! I was pissed off as I have spot where if I walk to (about 15min) I can see it come up and it wasn’t cloudy today or chemtrails.
I was up at 5.30 am so I went straight outside and for my walk. The gap between Sunrise and UVA rise in Leeds at the moment is about 90 min, so I will get some benefits to ‘setting my clocks’, activating the hormone cascade from my pituitary gland and starting the TCA cycle my the mitochondria for correct fuel use.
Tip: Just get outside as soon as you can.

I went for a walk. I wear shorts and a cotton top as the light can get through the cotton top. At 5.30 am, people are not about, so I can expose other bits to the sun when I walk through ‘the forestry bit’. As you can see from the photos, there are lots of trees and nature, as I live right on the edge of Leeds.
We also have the ‘graffiti’, and it changes each month or so as actual artists paint it before the gang tags appear!
Aether - Consciousness, Spirit, Soul
I then made my way to St James Church as its a favorite place of mine and it’s one of many churches in Leeds on a leyline or magnetic gridline.
I noted that there are lots of plums growing already and they are free to those who want to pick them. Apples grow here too, but I have 4 apple trees and a plum tree of my own.
I tested the overall vital energy in the area and it was 80%. I did some geomancy and clearing, which requires me to go into a bliss or flow state. I have looked up in the past what St James is the patron saint of, so I also thought of him. I then retested, and the overall energy was 95%. I already knew this was a good place of power before I learned geomancy, but it is nice that I can now test this and teach others.
If you have never heard of geomancy please check out Prof Ralf Otterpohl. He has been a guest on my podcast and with Meredith Oke. Meredith is on Substack and has super content.
I love roses, I do have several of my own. I love to sniff each one I find and I only buy the fragranced varieties and each variety smells different to me. I do it everywhere I can and my dad’s neighbour gave me a tour of her garden in Wales and I sniffed each rose as I also like to inspect the rose and ask which variety.
Smelling stimulates cranial nerve (CN1) 1, the olfactory nerve, optic nerve is CN2. Nerves that wire together fire together. As I have said before we need to train our senses. Its also useful to test if your left and right nostril have the same sensitivity, as cranial nerves are paired, a left and right.
This river is dirty, so it’s not a place I would swim. I put my feet in occasionally in winter as it’s icy cold. At this time of year in the UK, it’s warm. I will go into cold water plunges a bit later in the post, with and without a river, lake or sea.
I then went here on the way back to practise what I call “the pairs”, which is Professor Leung’s Tai Ji Wu, Quan and Gong. The Tai Ji Quan, pronounced “tren”, is the martial form. If I was with Chinese people, they would say, “Good spot, we have the five elements.” I also do some stretching on the railings on the path, which are further up.
Tip: Any movement is good, especially outside. Tai Ji is like Pilates in that no matter what, there is less, and no matter what, there is more. If you are shit at the basic moves, it doesn’t matter—it’s better than nothing. Anybody can do it. Even my mum has joined in, and she is 82. She recently broke her leg, so she did it sitting down.
I stayed out until 6.40am so made sure I caught the UVA rise and stayed in it. As you noticed, I put light before my breakfast. This was because I was running late as I missed the Sunrise.
I did pick some cherries on my walk. Seasonal and local! They are quite tart so nobody else eats them.
One of my conversations with my colleague Tino who is my co-host for our quantum consciousness and bio field retreat in Sept.
The poo, dung, or special cow dung we are trying to light is for Agni Hotra, a fire ceremony performed at sunrise and sunset. It originated as a Vedic tradition but is now practised around the world.
Dan Winter describes the physics of the four-wave phase-conjugate mixing that occurs at sunrise and sunset, which he proposes affects the implosiveness of plasma, creating a more negentropic environment.
Agni Hotra is used for both mental and physical healing, and there is now a great deal of information and many testimonials available online.
Tino and I are practising for when we perform Agni Hotra at our retreat in France.
The Agni Hotra ash can be used to make ointments, added to the garden, or put into water, as it has been shown scientifically to structure water. I have already written about this, although I haven’t yet tried making the water myself.
We then got creative with some ideas for skin creams. I remembered that I had bought some Blue Nile powder and prickly pear oil in Morocco, which we are going to use to make creams at our retreat.
I made a note to buy some raw milk, raw honey and raw goat’s cheese later at the Headingley Farmers’ Market.
I’ll show you what else I bought and introduce you to some of the stalls.
This is the ‘disgusting’ kefir that I have fermented from the original batch about 20 times and this changes the type of bacteria in the culture. It makes a GREAT face cleanser and safe gentle face AHA acid peel.
My conversation with Tino went off in several directions, which is something you can experience if you meet us, but this is a photo I sent him as an example of the ‘Power Of Meditating With Letters’, unusual alphabets and manifesting.
This is a handmade item from Dan Lu San, China as one of the brothers there has a gigantic selection of every stone or mineral you can imagine. This inscription or calligraphic Feng Shui is for health and luck. This is coming to France with me.
Tino is brining a Biowell which a device which is made by Prof Konstantin Korotkov, a quantum & biophysicist physicist with over 400 papers, 15 patents, 1000s of case studies and 13 books. I met him at Dr Pollack’s Water Conference in 2024.
I interviewed Prof. Korotkov today and within 5 min he was straight into how the mind can manifest matter and shape reality, his studies on life after death and studying the soul or spirit (He was an atheist for 35 yrs).
Then about the incredible people he has met on his travels, telepathy, pyramids as he measures everything with his instruments.
Early Access Unedited Video At The End For Paid Subs
Prof Korotkov loves to travel and I asked him about Siberia, South America, China. . I really love Prof K as he is not only a poly math wizard he is very very kind.
We are taking some of his instruments to France to collect data for him on the energy of the area, as well as doing GDV studies on peoples ‘auras’ or ‘electrical and photonic emission’ or cold plasma (how ever you phrase it) , as this relates into Qi, life force and redox as the aura is also just a cloud of charge, which can shrink or not have a good pattern. The images are before and after meditation.
This is Tino doing polarity therapy and using his Quantiphi, which is a phase conjugate negentropic plasma device… so a healing cloud of plasma
Tino and I are doing a group zoom on Tue July 14th 6pm UK/1pm EST if you want to learn more about Prof Korotkov work, biofields, polarity therapy, biogeometry and our Quantum Consciousness Biofields Retreat, 29th Aug - 5th Sept

Wood or Earth - Food, Nourishment, Growth
I had had raw mackerel - yes its from a supermarket and in plastic but its wild caught and if you are on a budget Morrison’s often has fresh fish on offer. Often, the caught on frozen is fresher than the fresh fish on display, you can order bags of these from fishmongers and its cheaper than the supermarket.
I prefer not to heat omega-3 fats, particularly DHA, as I worked on them during my postdoc researching statins, cholesterol and cell membranes. DHA is heat-labile, so I generally prefer to eat it raw where possible.
As you know, sushi is hugely popular in Japan, and smoked salmon is also eaten raw. I’m not obsessed with histamines, but I do try to avoid high-histamine foods where I can. Smoked mackerel is relatively high in histamines, whereas fresh mackerel is much lower.
That said, when we get to the farmers’ market, you’ll see that I do occasionally make and eat foods that are naturally higher in histamines. I just wouldn’t eat them at every meal.
This is my favourite mould-free coffee. I’ve tried lots of different brands. Bulletproof is okay, Danger Coffee is far too expensive, and this one is still my favourite.
I know when a coffee doesn’t suit me because I become very irritable afterwards. Whether that’s due to mould or something else, I can’t say for certain, but I’ve noticed the pattern consistently over the years.
I add MCT oil and some Lancashire butter to my coffee. I’m also about to start an experiment using a continuous ketone monitor (CKM), and one of the things I’ll be testing is how different MCT oils affect my ketone levels.
Google them for the links to buy.
Water
I found a new place to wild swim called ‘hidden dip’ about 16 min drive away, so I went to check it out.
It is not as big, as cold or as deep as the lake I usually swim in, but it is certified safe for swimming, and there aren’t 50 swans and 50 geese there!
The lake is a better swim, so I tend to stay in for longer. I can also dive underwater here.
As it’s hot in Leeds at the moment, I bought some ice on my way home to show you that anybody can do cold therapy at home.
If you don’t have a bath, you can improvise and even use a bin, which is what many people do.
My bath was A LOT colder then the river Wharfe
In my bath as you see, I have some iodine I put in as I am 99% sure the water is not fluoridated here, but who knows, then you can do cold plunges with Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate)
Ice is needed in summer. In winter the water in the bath is very cold.
I didn’t do a long plunge today, but I come back to my bath during the day and do mini plunges as it was hot today.
Contrast therapy - I find it speeds up melanin production.
I wrote about contrast therapy in my Morocco Substack
I always put my head under and do breath holds.
I put a slide in my previous Substack on benefits of cold bullet points, and I have other posts dedicated to cold exposure and videos on my YouTube.
For protocols and practicalities, please ask me in the comments or join my coaching group.
The pictures inside aren’t great because I never turn my lights on.
Here is my second distiller. The water first goes through my Wolfmac, which costs about £120, and then through this one from H2O Labs, which is around £350 and is a higher-end European brand. I double distil my water.
The lamp is my UVC lamp, which I use for cleaning the water and clearing frequencies. Yes, I believe water holds memory! I’ve written several posts about this.
The cleaning products are handmade by a couple in Horsforth. The funny-looking cloth is one of my many non-toxic cleaning items.
For remineralisation and minerals in general, see my Mighty Minerals Course, which now includes bonus modules on deuterium, gold, thymine and aluminium detoxification.

I do like my Axiom Hydrogen Generator and I have had it a long time. I know some people dont approve of hydrogen inhaling or water, but I have always found it beneficial.
An Axiom or Hydrofix is a more high-end item that may be out of some people’s budget.
I’m going to ask Axiom if I can borrow a machine to take to France from 29th August to 12th October, so people can try it for themselves before deciding whether they want to buy one.
I tried both the Hydrofix and the Axiom before I bought one, as I hardly ever buy things I haven’t tried. I prefer to make up my own mind rather than rely on other people’s opinions.
I have also tried the Axiom water bottle , but I don’t like it. I think it’s made of steel, and metal has a low dielectric constant, so it doesn’t act like a capacitor to help retain charge, so I store my hydrogen water in glass bottles.
You’ve seen my vortexer many times before. Vortices create charge and voltage, and if the vortexer is made with the correct geometry and materials, that charge can then compress according to the golden ratio. I don’t like the plastic used in this one, but the rest of it is made from silver.
Note the paddle is a sycamore seed shape. The helicopters. These are huge nuisance here as I have a sycamore tree and in my garden the seeds keep landing and they are like the SAS of seedlings and really hard to get out. Like dandelions and nettles, they take over the garden.
I eat my dandelions and nettles. Nettles are particularly interesting because they may make your body more sensitive to thyroid hormone and are also traditionally used to support detoxification.
Dandelions are another favourite of mine. They are also traditionally used to support detoxification and are known in French as pissenlit, which literally means “wet the bed”—a reference to their natural diuretic properties.
Here is my recycling 1. Glass 2 Is cardboard 3.Metal . Very often I end up needing a glass bottle for travel so most of the time they end up back inside. It’s the water you put in and the intentions you put into your water that matter, in my humble opinion. I don’t use a ‘special bottle’
This is my favourite drying rack, and it’s also portable. I do own a tumble dryer, but I hardly ever use it as it generates a lot of nnEMFs due to the rotation of metal in electric fields, and it uses loads of electricity. In Leeds, people dry laundry outside all year round.
I do most of my laundry by hand as I find it very good for my wrists. I also try to dry as much of it by hand as possible because it is great training for the ligaments in my hands for martial arts. It was a tip from Prof Leung, who was once a Shaolin monk, and that’s what they did.
In the picture:
Kiniki shorts (let sunlight and UV through)
Kiniki swimsuit
Cotton shorts
Thicker cotton shorts for winter and colder days
My Vietnamese low stool, which I sit on quite often. It is very good for hip mobility.
My yoga strap for hip stretches. I can also use it to perform a certain manipulation, similar to a CT lift, to open up and decompress my thoracic spine under gravity.
My stretching band for mobility. At the moment, I am working on the fascia in my back and shoulder to improve my reach and speed for martial arts.
Bands, straps and low chairs are inexpensive, so almost anybody can get them. Be creative.
My cacti have featured in previous posts. If I make cactus tea, which is about twice a year, I cut one in half, use the top section, and replant the bottom half.
The smaller ones were grown from seed. They don’t particularly like the weather here, but the babies are now growing spikes, and the cacti always root again. You can even see the new growth as the paler green sections.
I’ve built up quite a collection over the years. They didn’t enjoy me being away as they were not watered or taken out, so a few of them are being “healed” at the moment.
The UVI in Leeds can go up to 8 so making vitamin D is easy when the clouds are not there and also its easy to burn. It can be windy, its not overly hot, usually 23-27 degrees, so its easy to just stay outside for hours or all day.
You do not need to see photos of me making Vitamin D.
This is Headingley Farmers Market
This is new!
No Tropical Fruit! Only UK produce
Julie the ‘egg lady’. I missed the goose eggs this year! She has all kinds of birds. Goose eggs are the BEST.
To note I don’t buy from any of the bakery stores. I have never been into baked foods. honey yes I like.
My dad and I have ‘tasted’ at least 100 honeys from all over the UK and the world, we should do a honey tasting event. My dad used to keep bees.
Honey to me is like crack so I try not to buy it to often. Like fruit local honey is best has the correct light signature.
In general, my dad buys his honey from a place called Roose which is 2 miles from him, by his own choice. I also only buy the Horsforth or Headingley Honey.
Today I needed some honey for my kefir and honey and cheese face mask.
Back Home..
These are duck eggs as they are much better.
Tip: When you choose carrots in a bunch, go for the ones with the least limp leaves.
I messaged Nancy as I want to make a soup that can raise Qi, stimulate the spleen, helps make blood - An Earth Element Soup. So I was asking for guidance as she loves TCM cooking and knows a lot.
Nancy and I had a discussion about the soup as she looked in some books, and here is a summary.
🥣 Spleen (Earth) Soup
Ingredients
Oxtail (Spleen, Kidney – Yang)
Pointed cabbage (Spleen, Stomach – Neutral to Yin)
Carrots (Spleen, Stomach – Neutral to Yang)
Chilli (Spleen, Stomach – Yang, optional)
TCM Rationale
Oxtail provides a deeply nourishing base, supporting Qi, building Blood and Jing.
Carrots gently tonify Spleen Qi, support digestion and nourish Blood.
Pointed cabbage supports healthy digestion and balances the richness of the broth.
Chilli can be added for those with a Cold constitution to warm the digestive system and improve Qi circulation (omit if you have signs of excess Heat).
To learn more about Traditional Chinese medicine, internal Daoist medicine and 7 Elements (Quantum health) and our retreat in October
Nancy and I are doing a Free Webinar Fri July 17th @ 7pm UK/ 8pm CET/ 2pm EST . She might have time to teach some moves too.
Air - Breath, Oxygen
This is my composter, and occasionally I put bones in it. You can make your own compost bin or buy one, but make sure it can “breathe”, as compost heaps can spontaneously combust.
That reminds me of the ongoing discussions about human spontaneous combustion, with various mechanisms proposed by some very clever people I know, including Bob Greenyer, Prof Leung and JK. Those three discussing humans bursting into flames together would make a great podcast!
I try not to waste food, so it takes me quite a while to produce a decent amount of compost.
This is my BOB and where I practice my kung fu and Tai Ji, as there is a big emphasis on oxygen and also I wrote about embryonic breathing (breathing through the skin) in my Previous Substack Post. Professor gets annoyed at me using BOB but I find him very helpful for things like throws where I use only the head and accuracy of strikes.
My outfit is what MitoPapi Chris M calls ‘Aura Farming’, as he teaches me Gen Z words to keep me up to date with ‘the youth’. He has a great Substack and brain.
Note the kefir from my farmers market haul is is being made in the heat… I need open the lid periodically or it can explode!
The Element Of The Unknown
Later that day I had to work on several projects and one of them is the big n=1 experiment I am doing on internal Daoist medicine. I was looking through Heart Breath Coherence & Brain Waves data. As Prof Korotkov got me very excited as HRV is an excellent data set to collect alongside GDV electrical discharge from people so would lend itself well to ‘Human PEMF’, which is humans emitting ‘Qi’.
Another aspect of Professor Leung’s work is Self-Healing Using Altered States of Consciousness. Spontaneous Reactions, or “zapping”, are related to, but separate from, the movement practices.
I’ll share a video of Nancy entering a spontaneous reaction when I write about the data from my n=1 experiment. A person in spontaneous is a little like a myofascial unwind, but it is often more reproducible, more physical and more dramatic. To really understand what is happening, you need some background in the Five Elements, Five Meridians and Five Animals.
This is far too much to cover in this post. I have been “zapped” by both Nancy and Professor Leung, and with practice it is also possible to enter a spontaneous state without another person being present.
The picture below shows Nancy AFTER in one of these spontaneous reactions. Niels Voigt measured her brainwaves and other physiological parameters using the FlameinMind and iThrve apps. You can’t see her Muse headset in the photograph, but in the panel below you can see a high percentage of Delta waves.
Measuring brainwaves and HRV is something you can try at our retreats, alongside learning about biochemical testing, such as a CGM (glucose monitor) and blood tests.
The iThrie Chakra Heart Breath Coherence app costs around £5, and you’ll need a Polar heart rate monitor.
It’s an inexpensive way for almost anybody to explore heart coherence, and we already know many of the benefits of becoming more coherent.
I explained coherence and the Seven Elements in my previous post, where I shared some of the slides from my Quantum Chop Suey talk.
In a recent podcast, we also discussed coherent breathing, coherent food and coherent water, which many people really enjoyed—including Doc Malik and me.
This post is long enough already, so I’ll save the rest of the day for Part 2. Or perhaps I’ll show you a completely different day, because no two days are ever quite the same.
There is a lot of quantum fun to be had in Yorkshire! I may even organise a one-day event here at some point.
If you’re interested in joining one of our retreats in the South of France on 29th August, 5th September or 3rd October, you’ll find all the information, brochures, booking details and fees on this website.
Dr Ralf Otterpohl has 2 courses too and if you are interested, you can email him at ro@gartenring.org to inquire or get in touch with me.
If you know you would like to come or you are very interested but have questions please book a 30min Zoom call with me
