The word LAVENDER comes from Latin “lavare” to wash. (Lavatory). People would wash w nice smelling lavender flowers. I have not once been in a public bathroom that smelled like lavender. It would be nice.
There is some evidence that smelling lavender can give you a mild feeling of relaxation. So please have sex in a lavender field and pass out
Lavender flowers have oil glands that hold the scent. If only humans did.
Lavender is the gay cousin of sage, basil, oregano, and thyme.
Lavender is low maintenance and thrives in poorer quality soil. And mercifully, it doesn’t start eating bugs and other tiny animals to compensate. Many bugs cannot stand the smell hence the purpose of it.
Bees love lavender. They also love the unweeded clover all over my lawn. You’re welcome.
