I also ask clarifying questions to ensure the response aligns with my objectives. This upfront effort pays off in more focused and actionable answers.

One of the most powerful things about ChatGPT is how it can expand your thinking. I often ask for alternative viewpoints, challenge assumptions, or explore ideas outside my immediate view.

For instance:

• “What might I be missing in this approach?”

• “How would someone from a different industry tackle this challenge?”

This has helped me uncover fresh insights and creative angles I wouldn’t have considered on my own.

As valuable as ChatGPT is, it’s crucial to verify the information it provides. I always ask where the insights are coming from—whether they’re based on my input, general knowledge, or external references.

For critical decisions, I double-check the recommendations outside ChatGPT to ensure they’re accurate and credible. Verification builds confidence in the outcomes and ensures they stand up to real-world scrutiny.
