Every time you add balance, Simbase issues an invoice for that top-up. This article covers where to find them, what's on them, and how to keep the details accurate.
Your current balance is shown:
At the top of the dashboard, on every page, in your account's billing currency.
On the Billing → Overview page, alongside recent activity.
The number reflects all top-ups and deductions processed so far. Because usage is deducted as CDRs arrive rather than instantly (see Data usage and overages), the balance can shift slightly after you've already used data, this is normal.
Simbase doesn't have a monthly billing cycle. Instead:
One invoice is issued per top-up, by card, bank transfer, or auto-recharge.
Usage isn't separately invoiced. Data, SMS, public IPs, and daily fees are deducted directly from your balance, see Billable items and Data usage and overages.
So if you topped up three times this month, you'll have three invoices, one per top-up, not one combined monthly statement.
Open the dashboard.
Go to Billing → Invoices.
You'll see a list of every top-up, with date, amount, and method.
Click the invoice you want to open it.
Use the download icon to save it as a PDF.
Each invoice includes:
Your billing details, the entity name, address, and tax ID you entered in Billing → Billing Settings
The top-up amount and currency (your account's billing currency)
The date and payment method
An invoice number for your records
The billing details on every invoice come from Billing → Billing Settings. If your company's name, address, or tax ID changes:
Open Billing → Billing Settings.
Update the details.
Save.
This affects future invoices only, invoices already issued aren't regenerated. If you need a past invoice corrected (for example, for tax filing), contact support@simbase.com with the invoice number.
Simbase doesn't generate a combined monthly statement, each top-up has its own invoice. Your accounting team can total the invoices for the period from Billing → Invoices, the list shows dates and amounts for easy filtering.
Past invoices reflect the billing details at the time of the top-up and aren't automatically regenerated. Contact support with the invoice number and the correction needed.
No, only top-ups generate invoices. Usage is deducted from your balance with no separate invoice, see Billable items.
Invoices are accessed from the dashboard rather than emailed automatically. Anyone with access to Billing → Invoices on your account (see Users & roles) can download them.
