Call Sign Prefix Reference Sheets
Way back when, the old Radio Amateurs World Atlas had a list of all ITU-allocated call sign groups on the back cover. That was a handy little reference that I was missing so I recreated it using the latest information (Updated at WRC-19) available from the ITU Radio Regulations. I also made a version sorted by country. Both versions fit on a single sheet US Letter size paper, front and back. You can download them here.
US HF Band Plan Reference Cards
I picked up an aluminum HF band plan chart at the Dayton Hamvention a couple years ago. It’s designed to be durable for outdoor (POTA) use and very easy to use since it is specific to one license class. I love the idea of this thing. But I have never figured out why the bands are in what seems like a completely random order. (I’m sure there’s a good reason, maybe the most commonly used bands first?) Anyway, I’m a big fan and if you do any POTA operating you probably should get one. But, if you don’t want to spend $13 apiece or don’t care about the durability of aluminum, then maybe you just want something similar that you can print at home.
Grid Maps
Sometimes you just want to know where in world a particular grid field is without pulling up a website or a program. Here are a couple of printable Maidenhead grid field maps that you can keep close by and ready for a quick glance.
