• My Blog — (You are here.) This is my general-purpose website and blog, where you’ll find

  • Weekly (-ish) updates (aka Weeknotes)
  • Topical musings on things like AI, photography, and web development

  • Other junk and amusements that I’ve made.

• My Ratings blog is where I post ratings (and often short reviews) of movies, TV shows, and books. I may rate/review other stuff someday, but I haven’t so far.

• My Social Media Archive is the latest iteration of what has been various titled Omniroll, Omnica, and Amber. What started off as an experiment in social media automation has become simply a place to archive all my Mastodon posts — and a few Instagram, Twitter, and Bluesky posts — for posterity in a location that I control.

• Recipes We Actually Use is my online recipe box and is just what it sounds like: recipes that I have personally tested and documented. Most are borrowed from other sources, but they all have been formatted to optimize for prep. This is different to every other cookbook in the known university. Because I am special.

• Photo blog is a short-form photo blog where I post individual photos. Posts here are syndicated to Mastodon using Echofeed and then mirrored to my archive. For even more cowbell, you can also take a look at my Smugmug collection.

• My Amateur Radio Website and Blog is exacly what it sounds like. Another blog similar to this one, but focused on that hobby that’s been a consistent part of my life since I was 12 years old.

• Mi Cuaderno de español — A virtual “notebook” where I capture lessons learned during my study of Spanish language. Most content is the result of consulting with Claudio, my virtual Spanish tutor — who is, in fact, a persona created using Anthropic’s Claude family of foundation models.
