A wolf of few words. Quiet and hardworking, she tends to speak her mind when it counts.

from Lonely Wolf Treat!!! also appears in Syrup 1 and 2. she has a bunch of spinoff games... treat's in a lot of things, and a mainstay of my webcomic!

she was first designed on 4/30/2015, because i needed a character native to Mount Sorbet for Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet's plot. her name was suggested by a friend! she became so cute and important...

personality

prefers listening over being an active participant in conversations. overly conscientious when it comes to her loved ones. the way she speaks is very direct, but she becomes very indecisive in high-stakes situations.

she feels a lot of shame over being a wolf, because she doesn't want to be seen as dangerous or a bad person. on top of this, she thinks she's a bad wolf because she's polyamorous (something that goes against her culture). she felt like there was no place for her in the world until she met mochi.

relationships

FAMILY

Candy (mom)

treat has a close relationship with her mom, although she isn't easily able to tell her that she's polyamorous. she doesn't want to disappoint her, but needs her to understand and accept her too... poor treat!!!!!!

Cotton (dad)

treat loves her dad! she gets all her anxiety from him though, lol.

Fennel (pack member)

they grew up together, but aren't blood relatives. fennel had a big crush on treat, which she sort of reciprocated, but it couldn't work out because fennel would never agree to an open relationship. treat, feeling a bit trapped by her, breaks it off and runs away. she feels bad for hurting fennel, but didn't know how else to deal with her feelings at the time... ohhh so unfortunate......

Powder (pack member)

this is fennel's brother! treat and powder don't have a strong connection, they're both on the quiet side... but they like each other just fine.

Mango (pack member)

uhh i think saying anything here is spoilers... mango's kind of like treat's adopted grandpa...? bonus uncle??? hmm....

FRIENDLY

Mochi (partner)

lived together for a while before treat confessed her feelings. their relationship is a huge part of the plot of LWT--treat loves her a lot, and is deeply afraid of making her life worse in any way.

Moxie (partner)

again, a huge part of LWT's plot! treat doesn't understand moxie very well and takes a lot of what she says at face value. since moxie puts on a brave front no matter how she's feeling, treat assumes she's a very strong person and doesn't feel the need to worry too much over her. she admires her a lot though, especially her ability to tackle difficult situations with a smile. she's a partner that treat doesn't feel anxious or hesitant around, unlike how she can get with mochi.

Trick (best friend)

when trick joined vanilla, she didn't know what to think of them at first. they seemed like they led a more privileged life than her, so it felt insulting when they showed up as if they came to play around. but after discovering together that trick was abandoned by their master, she took special care to help them adjust to their new life. they became really close, to the point where treat wondered if she had feelings for them. being confused about liking trick and fennel at the same time is what caused her to leave vanilla, but after meeting mochi and moxie, she realized that her feelings for trick were actually just platonic... still, she cares very deeply for them and wants to continue to sharing a life together!

Syrup

met during SatUS, then started hanging out more in syrup 2! treat respects her strength.

Gumdrop

found her frozen in the snow one day. they had a friendly conversation once she thawed :)

Pastille

became friends through syrup. haven't really interacted much, but yeah, very polite, cordial.

Butterscotch

they meet briefly in SatUS, treat could sense that butterscotch used magic on herself and warned her to be careful on mt sorbet cuz it's dangerous.

Toffee

they become friends once toffee gets over their fear of wolves. there's a scene about it in syrup 2 involving mochi... (have you played syrup 2? it's really good)

Annie

her employer! treat is grateful to her, especially since when they first met, annie and may were hostile to her.

May

her OTHER employer! may makes treat a little nervous because she has a bit of an edge to her beneath that smile...

Dango

she helps danny with gender struggles in lwt ch5!!!! life-altering conversation!!!!! see danny, being friends with wolves makes your life better!!!!!!!

Moxie's friends

uhh so depending on what you do in LWT ch2 you can beat up salt and pepper??? but either way, they're cool with treat after moxie starts dating her and stuff. you can chat with them at the beach in ch5.

Mason

only canon to the comics, but treat gives mason info about the other wolves on mt sorbet when he asks her about them. she doesn't have a strong opinion about him, he is just some guy who is at least not mean to her.

UNFRIENDLY

Manjuu

treat has only ever shown manjuu that she's harmless, but manjuu is always coming after her anyway. she doesn't dwell on it though, she mostly just feels bad that she ruined mochi's relationship with her over just... existing. it's not your fault, treat...

The rabbits of Frosting

like... other than a few of them, they all do not like that treat lives next door to them in LWT.

Timber

ok treat is like, ideologically opposed to this guy. i talked about it on timber's page already, but due to her hangups about not looking dangerous as a wolf, she does not like that timber is setting things back to her in that regard. treat was told by candy that the glaze wolves are a pack of hunters, so she's extremely suspicious of timber even though he's pretty nice to her.

story

Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet

treat's debut appearance was in this game!!! people really loved her design, so i was motivated to do more with her... she's just a support role in SatUS, so there's not a lot to say here. she watches over gumdrop while syrup and butterscotch search for the ingredients for the ultimate sweet.

Lonely Wolf Treat

she's the main character!!!! uh there's a lot to say... here's an abridged version for now.

when treat was really young, she was part of a larger pack (glaze), but... *gestures to NWT*, her family left and formed a new pack called vanilla. since it was smaller, it was easier to find enough food for everyone, but they still struggled a bit sometimes. she grows up pretty peacefully on mount sorbet, then 5 years before the start of the game trick joins their pack, changing the dynamic and introducing her to other ways of life (such as staying in one place rather than moving around the mountain the way she's used to).

over time, she develops feelings for both trick and fennel. fennel pushes her into a relationship, but treat realizes that she can't be happy with one partner, and breaks up with her soon after.

she decides to run away from her life as a wolf, and an avalanche blocks her way home, trapping her in that decision for the winter. she moves into a vacant cabin just outside of frosting. by the time spring rolls around, she's already made a new home with mochi and decides she can't go back just yet...

in the meantime, she works at the hot springs near her house! she confides in moxie about her feelings for mochi (since moxie literally guesses her very obvious crush), and they end up sleeping together (i made a comic about this called delicacy!!!)

the three of them become girlfriends after treat finally confesses her feelings to mochi during a cute beach date, but once they get home...

that's where treat's story ends for now, but there will be a bit more in the epilogue once i make it... still working on ch8-3...... treat is endless.

Syrup 2: Candy Alchemy RPG

you can recruit her!!! she has scenes!!!!!! play my game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MoxDonald's

treat is mostly responsible for cleaning in this, but sometimes takes orders. she's awarded employee of the month! she comforts moxie when the closure is announced.

The Foxy Catch

she has a little arc in this! she starts off as being pretty rude to timber, she didn't want moxie to hire him because she figured he was going to cause trouble for her... so whenever he bends the rules, she calls him out for it. but when manjuu agrees with her about disliking him, she realizes she's on the wrong side. when timber gets arrested by osmanthus, she apologizes to him, saying wolves should stick together (something he always says to other wolves aww......) VERY TOUCHING...

moxie is spiraling a bit after losing her best cook, so treat joins mochi in dressing up in a maid outfit to cheer her up. the rest of her appearances are just being supportive to moxie... good gf...... thanks treat.

Mason AU

she shows up for 2 panels at the start of the movie. mason gets information from her about the other pack of wolves on mt sorbet and asks her where to find them, which leads him to meeting timber...

• enjoys hot springs... OMG what if i said she prefers baths to showers, opposite of timber. i think it's true. i'm telling you it's true right now because this is so funny.
• oh yeah, originally i was going to use treat and friends for a slice-of-life yuri comic, but i was too lazy to actually draw it and started making the games instead. i like this timeline better, i still get to draw treat comics on the side!

why can't timber leave a comment? he wasn't trying to start a fight, he was just saying her page is nice. fwiw i think it's a nice page too. but it makes me sad to see another wolf being mean to my bf when he's only ever been nice. i'd expect this kind of harsh judgement from a rabbit like you (no offense) and not someone like treat, so i was just surprised and hurt!

idk, i don't want to speak for timber either, but he was asked not to comment so he can't even defend himself... is this really the kind of energy we want to bring to the comment section? i'd really appreciate it if she could apologize... even if she didn't mean any harm by it, it still came off that way 😭

Aww, I'm sorry that you feel hurt! I talked to Treat about this, and she said that Timber knows she doesn't want to hear from him...? So actually, by leaving a comment here, it seems like he was purposely trying to start an argument.

If I may, I'd like to add that Treat is entirely correct in her assumption. As much as it pains me to side with a wolf, I absolutely believe Timber's intention in leaving his comment was to provoke an argument. And it seems to have been a roaring success, at that. He's even gotten his white knight of a dog to continue to fan the flames for him, furthering his facade of innocence.

Timber's remark was hardly sincere. It was bait, pure and simple. It's reminiscent of a technique known as "sealioning", in which the illusion of good-faith engagement is presented, but with the malicious intention of poisoning the discourse; or at the very least, upsetting the other party to the point of derailing the conversation. Timber, as a master of such trolling techniques, has bested you here.

By the way, Twigs, don't think I let your discriminatory remark against rabbits slide. I've reported your post to the moderators. I can only pray that swift action is taken and we can all see you banned. Timber as well, naturally.
