I figured I need to get back into the habit of logging into EVE.

To start with I still need to collect the scattered loot and ships from the last event I ran.

Logging in, I found a new event had just begun called Operation Avalon with accompanying daily log in rewards.

The operation involves chasing around investigation sites which move systems once enough are cleared. If you are lucky enough to have an investigation spawn nearby, you can often run a site or two before a steady stream of players starts to turn up and everything becomes contested.

I ran a few salvage sites in this way – since they seemed to be the easiest. They were worth about 8M ISK each on average. As other players rushed in I then lost interest. I have enough stress in my life already right now without adding to it with stressful gaming.

Looking at some of the loot on offer helped with this indifference. I am not sure about anyone else, but I couldn’t give a rats about SKIN design elements or booster rewards.

My newer account has now had a couple extra months of skill training under their belt, so there are a bunch of ship fittings I need to update to T2. That should keep me busy for a little while.
