I tend to buy all the family gifts, including for my own Birthday, Fathers Day and Christmas. This is because – while well intentioned, my wife is a horrendous gift shopper.

I will usually get myself a small selection of some sort of pop culture item, or a Blueray set or CD, or a good brand tool like some screw drivers, or a book to read, or an item or two of clothing. I also tend to give myself a Steam gift card.

I add these to my Steam wallet, and by the time the Steam sales occur I will usually have enough to grab the items on my wish list which are heavily discounted.

In the last sale I purchased the following titles to add to my collection of games to get around to play at some future point in time:

Meanwhile I decided I need to teach myself to play multiple games in the same timeframe. So today in EVE saw me moving ships back to my home base and refitting some with all the extra T2 modules I can use, while in The Last Caretaker I installed the helipad on my ship and continued with neatening all my hoses. Later I might fire up Satisfactory. I am at the point in that game where I need to set up some of the more complicated manufacturing lines – and I am stuck at how to neatly source the materials from the large factories I have producing all the basic building blocks of the game through to these new factory lines.
