Become a Speaker

Sessions that do best at Cloud Tech Tallinn are specific, honest, and grounded in real experience. The bar is simple: would the audience learn something specific and useful they would not get from a generic webinar?

What makes a strong submission

  • Proofread everything and use the correct product naming.
  • Acknowledge what did not work alongside what did. Keep it honest, not marketing.
  • Write from real implementation experience.
  • Make it clear what you will say, why the audience should care, and how you will present it.
  • Highlight key takeaways the audience can apply after your session.
  • Use an exciting title and abstract that make people want to learn more.
  • Bring out-of-the-box thinking on product, people, and collaboration.

What we deprioritize

  • Generic introductory sessions on Copilot or Azure with no real-world context.
  • Submissions that read like a product pitch, even from community speakers.
  • Very short abstracts with only a call to action.
  • Abstracts that were not updated specifically for this conference.
  • Submissions where it is unclear why this speaker is best suited for the topic.
  • Sessions submitted under the wrong track to avoid competition.
  • Submissions where the speaker seems unsure about the topic or solution.
  • Topics that fall into the 'just because you can, does not mean you should' category.
