- I pretty much created him bc I've been itching to create an old man OC with a similar face card as KDS. (TBH I've drawn more inspiration from characters I adored who shared similar appearance to how I draw KDS, like Shinichiro Sonidori from Medalist or Dabura Karaba from JJK Modulo. I have a type.)
- He's essentially the Warren to Rita's storyline. The old Curse user who mentors her.
- I also have plans to use him to explore older parts of Arcaneverse lore. Basically using him as a ladder to reach lore parts Rita+Ben wouldn't be old or powerful enough for. He can also help Ben's crew as the allying Curse user.
- Initially named Vogel, later renamed so he feels more like Rita's relative.
Assorted stuff about his habits/character
- "How does he celebrate his birthdays?" he generally tries to make time to return to his kingdom during his birthday and celebrate it with his descendants/family. doesn't really mind any kind of celebrations from his family, as long as he gets to be with em he's happy :]
- falco himself had a wife (died from age since she’s not a curse user) so his current family is mostly his grandchildren and descendants

- most favorite: sweets + spicy food. pretty much stuff with enough flavor to make him feel like a human

- "How's his relationship with his mom?" falco's mother did live long enough for him to be there during her death by age. he still visits her grave every now and then. type to look at the skies and go "yeah i hope she's resting out there". he got his curse sometime after her death and the grief never goes away anyways. will bring his children/grandchildren/descendants to visit his mother's grave every now and then
Relationships
- Warren: A long-time friend from the neighboring kingdom! They've known each other for so long...
- Rita Faulkner: His protege and co-worker. Subconsciously treats her like a daughter.
- Ben Adler: His student's twin brother... He also subconsciously adopts him too.
- Morden: By the proxy of both Ben and Rita, he came to know this young Curse user with so much on his shoulders... Leaving him isolated and improperly guided would be unwise.
- Serpico: A slippery snake.
More about his relationship with Rita
- he’s basically rita’s mentor figure. after rita lost her family during their escape from pursuers + picked up mercenary work, he basically offered her to stay at his kingdom (a neighboring kingdom with ben’s and rita’s old kingdom) for home since she’s still being hunted down in her kingdom
- pretty much the equivalent of warren in rita’s storyline. is literally the one sending her off to awakening
- as much as falco acts paternal towards rita, she prefers treating him as an equal
