The Brewing Storm

The second God of Destruction, who was born and split from the frustrations and other emotions buried deep within Eina.

They were first discovered as a strange, malevolent phenomenon who stole other gods' creations away into their place at first. After being found, they're recruited to join the other gods in the pantheon realm, and they're later revealed to be an unintended creation from Eina.

Eventually, Hal fills a niche among the gods—the one who preserves the ruins, and the one who takes care of all that's forgotten and abandoned. They're also specialized in neutralizing the destructive effects from the ruins.

Hal's Shrine

A shrine that can be spotted through various places, throughout the Pantheon Realm and the Major Worlds, tucked away in forgotten areas. However, once you step within the shrine's territory, you'll be teleported to a pocket realm, disconnected from the outside world. All entrances to this shrine lead to the same place—which may make you run into those from the other worlds.

Here, you can take a rest, or offer gifts to Hal.

At the middle of the shrine, there's a statue where the visitors often leave an accessory of it. Its trend in accessories seem to change each season, like scarves for winter seasons.

Psyche

like eina, they feel and react strongly. and it usually takes form of their anger/annoyance towards everyone in the APCverse (with a few exceptions).
not the most friendliest and most pleasant person to be around. they will bite for seemingly no reason. they get especially aggressive with all gods of creation, and eina.
has a complex where they believe they can take care of creations better than other gods. one reason why they stole other gods' stuff (until they're found by the the pantheon). as an effect of this complex, they can be pretty competitive and they relish in the rush and stress that comes with it.
(un)surprisingly sentimental. will hoard and hold onto things. feels drawn to abandoned and destroyed things.

"You've ruined your creations so much... that it hurts to even look at them. Do they mean anything to you, really?"

Miscellaneous Tidbits

incredibly inconsistent sleep schedule. gods can go without rest for days (until they hit mental strain), and for hal's case, they have a habit of using up all their energy before finally managing to sleep
doesn't really many active clones hanging around. if they bother to make a clone to hang out with you, you may find them to be slightly more sluggish than the usual. they're not too used with this cloning ability.
Carries things around in a small pocket dimension. If they were to grab something from it, they can either just grab it out of their pocket, or they summon a whole inventory list (think of it as opening a game's inventory UI) to pick items from.
And yes they're a hoarder.

Relationships

Fellow Gods of Destruction: Parts of them.
- Eina: The source of their suffering! Leave them alone! What? What are they going to do to the deepest parts of their psyche? Piss off! (They have little respect for Eina. Almost like they're born from Eina's sheer self-hatred.)
- Marin: "How'd you get here? Who the hell are you? What do you want here?"
Xenon: An exception ♥
- As loved and respected as they seem to be, not a lot seems to appreciate what Xenon really is inside. A good listener, caring, attentive, accepting, and... a lot more. Not to mention that it just feels genuinely pleasant around them, unlike most other gods.
- Being their first actual friend and all, Hal finds themself hanging around Xenon a lot. It's fun seeing Xenon's reaction to something for the first time, and it's amusing seeing their new reactions to what Hal is up to, too.
- Would you believe that they used to dislike each other early on?
Kias: The source of all suffering. Screw them. Not like they'd bother with them anyway, tch.
Ieno: Just some pathetic god forced to rot away in their own place. Not like they have much to comment on them, anyway.
Wren: The same being as the source of all suffering, yet they managed to be even more bothersome... Just leave them alone already!
Meleph: A nuisance.

Undoing the Scars

Hal's first appearance

Incidents of missing items, worlds, and people began to occur throughout the Pantheon Realm. However, one incident in particular that motivated Wren to really crack the case down—was Genofi's disappearance.
- Genofi is pretty much a major god, and a lifeline for the Fragile Dreamscape. Their disappearance would be a dire threat to its survival.
With all the complaints they've gathered, Wren decided to ask Xenon for their assistance in this case. Xenon could use their time-rewinding powers to help bring the scenes of disappearance to life.
- Xenon was hestiant with taking such important job at first, but upon hearing that Genofi went missing—and that meant every other Major Gods are also at threat—they agreed to help out.
Wren and Xenon worked together to trace back to the culprit, with the help of Meleph's navigation tools and vehicles.
- Each and every reported cases all traced back to the same culprit—a being from somewhere far, far away from every other gods.
- However, Meleph's expertise could only go so far, as they headed right into the unchart territory. Both Wren and Xenon did whatever they could to travel there.
- As they traveled to life-threatening area, like a defense mechanism set to deter any and all visitors, Wren used their powers as the God of Creation to help get Xenon through it.
After getting there, they found a person in a disheveled appearance. It's a complete stranger to them, yet, with an aura that strikes fear in both gods.
- It was Hal, residing in their own world, surrounded by everything and everyone they had taken from the other gods. All items were kept in pristine state, while all people were sleeping in safely and protected in facilities Hal provided for them.
Wren and Xenon tried to coax Hal into returning all the things they had stolen.
- Wren went something like: "Ok, buddy, look. What you did has been screwing up the other gods' situation. An entire major world is in danger because you kidnapped their god. If you would comply and return them, we won't hold it against you. Our xenon here can reverse the damage you did—"
- Hal immediately turns their attention to Xenon. Proceeded to give them the "Aren't you tired of being treated like a quick-fix tool for other gods?" talk to try to get Xenon on their side. Really dug right into Xenon's fear of being abandoned and forgotten by other gods. They could also easily reverse Xenon's whole contribution to the Pantheon Realm, throwing everything they've done into nothing.
As Xenon became more and more unnerved by Hal, Wren brutally and quickly struck Hal down, nearing wiping Hal's existence off the Pantheon Realm.
Xenon began to raise questions about Hal's true nature, considering how they stood a small chance against Hal, while Wren had the power to stop them with their hand.
Everyone's aftermaths and thoughts:
- Wren was determined in trying to get Hal to join the other gods, and generally tried to help them assimilate into the gods' society.
- On the other hand, Xenon gets new existential crisis, thanks to their first encounter with Hal. They also developed a dislike for them at first. A very distinct feeling from Xenon's detached feelings towards literally everyone else (save for Ieno).
- Lastly, Hal—they were quite dissatisfied with Pantheon Realm's state, however, they try to be more open with Wren's help. Despite their contacts with Xenon being heavily monitored (considering how their first meeting went), Hal still remained the same sentiment of wanting Xenon to realize that they're being used by other gods.

What-If Outcome

Instead of Wren successfully knocking Hal out, it's Hal managing to take Xenon away from them.

Xenon would've joined the list of missing gods—causing a great amount of distress and chaos among the other gods. Especially with Xenon's status as the God of Time.

On the other side, Hal would let Xenon rest and sleep in a safe space Hal provided, while listening to Xenon's deepest wishes—it was to be able to work by Ieno's side, and have Ieno as their anchor. With that wish, Hal would either attempt to recreate someone who can fulfill Ieno-shaped hole in Xenon's heart, or try to kidnap Ieno.

If the abduction of Ieno succeeded, time would come to a halt to everyone, except for the beholder triad.
