Hey everyone!
Since our audience has grown quite a bit over the last few years, we thought it was high time for a proper re-introduction—for both the long-time listeners and anyone who just stumbled into our corner of the internet.
We’re Roland Woldt and J-M Erlendson (or at least, the best digital representations of us). Five years ago, we started the What’s Your Baseline? podcast, and somehow we’ve successfully shepherded it through 10 seasons.
Season 11 officially kicks off today on Patreon! (And if you’re listening via regular distribution like Apple, Spotify, YouTube, Audible, or Pocket Casts, mark your calendars for August 24th.)
We’re veteran consultants with backgrounds in major consulting firms and crucial roles at two household-name software vendors in our field. Over the years, we kept seeing organizations struggle with the exact same problems over and over—yet almost no one was sharing their hard-won solutions.
We still scratch our heads wondering why process and architecture management are so often treated like a side hobby rather than a core business discipline. So, we set out to change that—sharing real-world experiences so we can all get better together.
What started as a show officially turned into a full-fledged business last year. Today, What’s Your Baseline? is rapidly expanding to include:
A Global Expert Network: Assembling top process and architecture practitioners worldwide (more on this very soon!).
Knowledge & Insights: Publishing books, Substack articles, and hosting monthly webinars.
Practitioner Tools & Apps: Building practical solutions—both standalone and on top of partner platforms like ARIS and Adonis.
Hands-On Training: Developing courses covering Foundation, Tools, and real-world Use Cases (like how “process” directly supports Risk & Compliance).
Consulting Services: Helping organizations establish and scale their architecture, process management, and process intelligence capabilities.
Want to follow along as we grow? Here’s where you can find us:
Follow us on LinkedIn for regular updates and discussions.
Subscribe to our Substack for deep-dive articles.
Keep an eye out for our website refresh (currently under construction, because it turns out re-architecting your own digital front door takes a little love!).
Thanks for being part of the journey. We hope you enjoy Season 11!
