This week feels like one of those chapters I’ll remember forever.
I’m closing on my very first building, and somehow, it still doesn’t feel quite real.
The funny thing is... I wasn’t actively searching for it. I’m always curious when I pass interesting old buildings, but this one found me. I was out running completely unrelated errands when I stumbled across it. I almost walked right past it, but something made me stop. The moment I looked inside, I knew.
It isn’t perfect. It isn’t finished. But I can already see what it can become.
This week, I’m collecting paint samples, holding up curtain fabrics, imagining different floor plans, and dreaming about all the little details that will slowly transform it into a dream home. I smile every time I think about it because, in so many ways, it reminds me of what happens here at Velvet Bridal every single day.
The biggest moments in life rarely arrive exactly as we expect them. They quietly find us, asking us to imagine not just what is, but what could be.
