With World Cup squads now being announced and the tournament getting closer, it feels like a good time to share one of Triptico’s most competitive classroom activities: Football.
Completely rebuilt for the new Triptico website it lets students or teams compete against each other on separate devices, in the classroom or in their own time.
Teams win possession and select a card. The revealed card shapes the direction of the match and students must answer questions correctly to score goals or to prevent their opponent from scoring.
Joining a game is simple. One team hosts and the other joins as the guest.
Once linked, the match is played out across the two devices.
Creating and sharing question sets is easy. You can even ask Triptico’s AI Assistant to create a question set for you.

I have also been continuing my work on a separate classroom football project called Class League.
It grew out of something I used to do as a teacher: a fantasy football-style competition where students’ effort, homework, participation and behaviour all directly influence their team’s success.
