Triptico · Triptico

Triptico has a completely refreshed home page.

It’s cleaner, faster and hopefully does a better job of showing what’s on offer the moment you arrive, with a clearer picture of the three tiers: Lists, Plus and Lessons.

I have also optimised all of the images so pages across the entire site should load more quickly.

Have a look around and let me know what you think.

I’ve also added a new section just for students.

When you share a Triptico activity, students can simply visit the student area, enter the code you give them and start straight away. They still do not need to sign in or create an account.

New Feature

In response to feedback from teachers, I have added a new feature to both the Board Plus and Carousel activities.

You can now choose which side of each card is displayed first.

As an additional bonus, your choice is saved automatically so the activity opens the same way next time and works the same way when shared with students.

🏆 Have you tried Class League yet?

Alongside Triptico, I’ve been building Class League and I’ve been genuinely thrilled with the feedback teachers have been sending in. A couple of the kind things people have said:

Class League is one of those ideas that is excellent because it hasn't been over-engineered or over-complicated. The number of teams, the number of players and the elements that can be adjusted is just right. The reward / points deduction element makes it very useful.”

The whole concept is brilliant. I’m running it with Post-16 SEN learners. Students have taken to it instantly. One suggestion would be a speed control for the match play sections to slow it down so students could have more time to read the match scrolling.” (Note: This has now been added, David.)

It takes 5 minutes to set up and the students are ready to compete.”

I tried with two other classes on Tuesday and they loved it. I went round and asked for feedback and it was overwhelmingly good. Pupils were trying to get nearer the board to watch as the results came up. Lots wanted another match straightaway again. It is an amazing resource, as is Triptico.”

If you haven’t given it a go yet, I’d love for you to take a look: Class League.

It’s quick to set up and free to use.

In short, it is Fantasy Football with a twist: students are as important to the success of their team as the players they select.

Until next time

Thanks, as always, for being part of the Triptico community.

As ever, just hit reply if you’ve got feedback, questions or ideas.

I read every message.

David
