🎧 This Week’s Happenings
A major celebrity DARED to block The Nerve this week.
Not just Maureen.
The ENTIRE operation.
Marlaina.
Our segment producer.
Troublemakers: The Nerve moves the culture!
Teddy has been alerted, and though he continues to threaten a work stoppage (his caseload does grow by the minute), he immediately sprang into action — after all, Queen Troublemaker is the one dispensing the treats and the hugs. He’s officially opened a case file and is already requesting backup. (Trouble is still a rookie and his training . . . well, let’s just say he’s more interested in getting Teddy to play than tracking down perps and miscreants. He’ll get there.)
In the meantime: This ballsy blocker is the subject of an unprecedented Mini tomorrow. Do what you can to catch this one live — and carve out a little extra time.

What a huge relief to be back together after our week off! We had so much to get to, and you were right there with us!
Upon our Tuesday return, we gave Taylor’s Big Fat Disney Wedding the walloping it deserved — from holding New York City hostage during a heat wave to our report, later in the week, about what all those A-listers (among them Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Jay-Z) really thought about this multi-million dollar corporate brand merger. And you know . . . a few of them might be Troublemakers.
Staggered celeb arrivals per Taylor deeming her guests A, B, C, or D list (sorry, Cara Delevigne).
The hundreds of guests made to stand.
The buffet line.
Skee-ball and ring-toss games.
Champagne running out early (reportedly, allegedly).
The raffles.
The infidelity clause, drafted by Taylor’s dad, that will cost Travis $20 million per indiscretion (reportedly, allegedly). Nicole Kidman’s Cocaine Clause has competition!
Dive in to any Nerve this week for our savage takes — no other outlet is approaching our real talk about fake people.
It cold opened with one of television’s greatest fake commercials courtesy of SNL:
“Oops... I Crapped My Pants.”

Billy Bush, The Nerve’s brother from another mother, gave us the perfect excuse to revisit one of television’s most infamous not-quite-bathroom moments — the interview in which Al Roker, our newest repeat offender, admitted, without prompting, that he sharted at The White House.
Al: The Nerve truly sees you. (And that’s often not a good thing.)
Please report to one Teddy Van Halen at The Nerve. Your case file has officially been opened. (Poor Ted.)
And back to Tay’s wedding...
Stephen Colbert is discovering that life after late night isn’t quite as funny as it used to be.
Blake & Ryan keep TMZ on speed-dial while Justin Baldoni’s latest video has the internet and Nerve HQ abuzz.
Lady C served up more royal tea than Buckingham Palace has poured in a century.
🚨 THE CASE FILE IS ABOUT TO BE UNSEALED . . .
Below, Teddy presents his complete investigative dossier, including:
Exhibit A: The evidence against said celebrity who blocked The Nerve. [MC: Shocker — we got around it. Don’t tell Teddy though — he’s very proud of his work thus far.]
Teddy’s Tactical Response: His top-secret plan to collar this offender — and Teddy’s even more worked up because this celeb, like Lena Dunham before, dumped his longtime dog.
What We Couldn’t Say on YouTube: The stories, jokes, and behind-the-scenes bloopers.
The Maureen Edit: This week’s beauty, style, and obsessions.
📬 Repeat Offender Update: See Maureen’s note for a celebrity we didn’t get to this week who has been brought to justice by The Nerve!
