Dear Soul Friends,
Welcome to this wondrous Wednesday! The middle of a week is a perfect moment to pause and ponder. The day started amazingly magical when I found a four leaved clover while taking my cat for a walk through the garden. What a way to start the day!
I am a slow morning person. Whenever I have an appointment, I feel the hands of time relentlessly pulling me through space, while I try to wake to this strange world. Today the morning went slow, yet started to speed up when I began to watch the clock. “I still have thirty minutes to write”, I thought, when I sat down near the window and took out pen and paper. I could sense the feeling of panic arising. Time is just going too quickly. Suddenly I felt the need light a candle. And in this small ritualistic gesture, magic returned.
This simple flame ignited my creativity and a poem flew to paper. One that I’d like to share with you. A short initiation into the day or as a break in between tasks. I hope it helps you to find that speck of time. This moment, that helps us to become aware, that we are creators and time indeed is an illusion.

These are my top five micro rituals that always ground me back into the present moment:
Lighting a candle
Hugging a tree
Smelling a flower or sage
Listening to the birds
Sipping and consciously tasting coffee
