On Fridays, I often find myself thinking about the quiet corners we all need -especially in grief. Spaces where you don’t have to explain why you’re still sad, or why a random song in the grocery store aisle made you cry. Places where you can just show up as you are, tired or talkative or somewhere in between.
That’s the heart behind The Grief Table Private Support Group on Facebook. It’s a small, tender space where grieving people gather to share their hearts. Sometimes I post longer teachings or reflections, but most of the beauty happens in the everyday: people sharing memories, naming the hard days, posting photos, or simply saying, “This is where I am right now.”
You can be as involved or as quiet as you want there. Some folks comment often, some mostly read. A few people go live and share what’s on their hearts. Others never post at all, but tell me it helps just to know they’re sitting in a circle of people who “get it.” There’s no pressure to perform or be “inspirational” - just a place to be human in your grief.
If having a gentler corner of the internet to sit with other grieving hearts sounds comforting, you’re welcome to pull up a chair here:
