House Hunters: London Edition

Well, it is almost official. We are moving to London!

Since I started this newsletter in October, I have published something every single Friday. This week is the first time I missed my deadline. Ruh-roh. But I don’t believe in perfect streaks, and we needed time to finish this story. So here is my first (and probably not last) Saturday Field Trip! We’re headed to West London.

Why are we moving? Thomas works as an engineer for a company called Prysmian. They are based in Milan, but since last year, Thomas has been working on a project in the UK. He’s been traveling to Edinburgh or London at least twice a month, which is fine but also lame. Luckily, or perhaps fatefully, the company decided to open an office in London and was desperate for English-speaking bodies to justify what I can only imagine is a monstrous monthly overhead.
