More often than not, they won’t come as much of a surprise, because, (Surprise! Surprise!), you already knew how to build peace here at home.
In the weeks that come, I’ll get specific, sometimes highlighting the work of a single organization that might be your personal on ramp into the community that we are are building.
Let me start, though, with an overview of things that people like you or I can from which you can begin to chart your own journey, Made by Piper Hendricks of Stories Change Power and three Rotarians, the video was at the heart of a webinar I attended ten days or so ago. It goes from the metaphoric 30,000 foot level down practically to the ground outlining the kinds of things people can do to strengthen civil society, which includes peacebuilding and a whole lot more.
Trust me, I’ve sat through zillions of presentations like this one, yet I was blown away by how much they were able to get across in half an hour.
Especially if you are searching for things you can do to help turn our country around, Piper and her friends will give you a useful list of options to consider.
