Happy almost April Fool’s Day! There are some amazing opportunities below for teacher travel PD opportunities with applications due in April. Enjoy…
Study the complex legacy of Jefferson and Monticello this summer in this highly regarded, fully-funded teacher PD in Virginia.
This incredible travel PD covers 10 days of learning in another country (different locations each year). Below, read two first-hand accounts of what this fellowship is like:
NEA GLF in Costa Rica! (See the beautiful photo, above, from this article…)
This fully-funded institute brings teachers to Virginia for hands-on study about the American Revolution and the founding of the United States. In addition to accommodations and meals being covered, a travel stipend is provided.
Get a $7,500 stipend and $750 materials budget for this 7-week PD program at the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center developing curriculum on the University of Wisconsin Madison campus! Housing and food are not provided, but the stipend is more than enough to cover those.
Get funding to bring your class on field trips to historic battlefields!
I hope these resources are helpful, and I’ll send new opportunities soon. Remember that if you want to share your own recent funded PD experience, you’re welcome to reach out to Lillie@TeachingTraveling.com and I’ll be happy to give you interview instructions to be featured on TeachingTraveling.com.
