Learn at a week-long summer residency at the New York Public Library in late July! Funding covers lodging, round-trip travel to and from NYC, and a $1,000 stipend. Wow!
This week-long summer PD in Maine and Boston helps teachers study Native American history. Tuition is a “pay what you can” model (including $0) with food and lodging included.
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is an INCREDIBLE organization that provides funding and other supports to promising 7th students with financial need. The students I know who have won this funding have found it utterly life-changing, so please spread the word to any relevant young people you know to apply! The application is quite long and the deadline is tight (sorry — I’ll try to post this one earlier next year) but it’s worth it!
There is over $1,000 in funding available for each teacher accepted to this 3-day June in-person workshop in Colorado to study teaching through space analog missions.
Though there is no stipend for this 9-month online course on “Engaging Eurasia,” it is completely free and is Harvard-run.
Study writing for a week in July at Bard College in beautiful Upstate New York. The workshops have a sizable cost, but there are scholarships available.
