Sorry about the late notice on this one, but if you move quickly you can get the application in. This is a fully funded PD in July at the LBJ Library about migration in America, and comes with a $250 stipend.
Another last-minute one: Study space travel in Florida in July with a $1,300 stipend!
This summer teacher institute at the Tenement Museum in NYC on teaching immigrant and Black history runs for a week in July and covers travel expenses, with a $500 honorarium. There is a version of this for NYC teachers in August.
All expenses are covered, plus a $1,000 stipend, for this week long July training in Western Massachusetts on teaching the Holocaust through Yiddish literature.
Housing and food are covered, and a $1,000 stipend offsets travel costs for this Ohio State University week of studying the Declaration of Independence this summer.
The American Antiquarian Society runs this 5-day August PD for educators on historic children’s voices from the colonial period through the 19th century. Lodging and some meals are provided, plus $1,500 in stipends.
