David Keeler · Taskflow Tuesday

This is issue #66 of Taskflow Tuesday, where I share 3 things that can help you to get digitally organized so that you can spend more time on what truly matters.

Are you in maintenance mode? Survival mode?

When’s the last time you made significant progress in your business?

There’s so much to do as a business owner and it’s easy to get lost in the weeds.

Take 10 mins to answer these two simple questions.

What is working the best in my business?

  • What makes you the most money?

  • What produces the best results for the business?

What is the most broken part of my business?

  • What is the biggest bottleneck?

  • What is keeping you in maintenance / survival mode?

📆 Now schedule time on your calendar to put on your problem solving hat and:
✅ Figure out how you can double down and do more of what’s working.
❌ Fix the biggest problem in your business.

✍🏼Write down your thoughts on each question. That will give you more direction and clarity than you could imagine. Then turn that into a targeted action plan.

As a business owner it’s your job to figure these things out, and the sooner you do, the faster you’ll get traction and see serious progress in the areas that matter.

If you’d like to, please use the comment section of this post to share what your plan is for each. Your plan could be the thing that unlocks a new idea for someone else.

When people say “I wish I were more disciplined,” what they usually mean is:

“I wish it was easier to do the things I say I want to do.”

The reality is, it’s so much easier to design an environment where discipline is frictionless, than trying to rely on motivation.

If your goal is to write more, keep your writing app open.

If you want to work out in the morning, lay out your clothes the night before.

Want to eat cleaner? Don’t keep junk food in the house.

Environment always wins.
