The Department of Education, led by former Connecticut failed senatorial candidate Linda McMahon, has deleted a video that appears to compare Donald J. Trump to Hitler.

I mean, if the shoe fits, but…

You can watch the thing here. The unserious DOE saw fit to use a clip from 2017’s “Darkest Hour,” with the Oscar-winning Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill saying, “You cannot reason with a tiger when your head is in its mouth.”

And check out their intro on X: “No one does it like us.”

Nor should they.

A little historical context would have moved whoever does social media for Linda McMahon’s DOE to do some reflection before posting that weird video. What was the purpose of that video, anyway? To hold up Dear Leader as some kind of…tiger? A toothless one, perhaps? With mange?

For context? Hitler is the bad guy. Not Churchill. Class dismissed.
