His expertise proved especially valuable in development of challenging oil and natural gas basins, where he managed intricate land portfolios and ensured compliance amid evolving environmental and regulatory landscapes.

A pivotal chapter came with his focus on the North Park Basin in Jackson County, Colorado. As an independent consultant for SandRidge Exploration & Production Company, LLC, and later as Senior Vice President at Fulcrum Energy Capital Funds, Doug has principally overseen land management, regulatory affairs, environmental stewardship, and community relations for Gondola Resources, LLC’s assets in this promising yet complex region.
