A little over two weeks ago, “Transforming Healthcare Through Negotiation” and its companion “Field Guide” entered the world.
Since then, I’ve seen signs that this work is beginning to take root:
A major health system reached out about system-wide HEAR™ training.
Three medical schools inquired about curriculum integration.
Dozens of professionals have written to share their first successful negotiations using the framework.
Both books launched as #1 New Releases in their fields — Health Law and Healthcare Management.
But here’s what really marks success:
Yesterday, a physician told me she finally had the conversation she’d been avoiding for three years. It was about workload — and it had been taking a toll on her well-being. Using HEAR™, she didn’t just get through the conversation. She transformed it into collaborative problem-solving. Her department is now restructuring how it distributes cases.
That’s the movement we’re building:
Not just better negotiations, but a transformed healthcare culture.
Not just individual wins, but systemic change.
The books were just the beginning. The real work happens in your organizations, your departments, and your daily conversations.
What’s Next
I’m developing:
Virtual workshops for teams that can’t travel
A certification program for HEAR™ facilitators
Monthly office hours for those implementing the framework
Custom training for specific healthcare sectors
But here’s where I need your voice: What support would help you most in transforming your healthcare conversations? Reply and tell me. This movement is ours to build together.
With continued momentum,
Stacey
